Private/Closed Welcome to Ukjent High

Evalynn tightly pursed her lip, her spine going rigid in annoyance at Abyss’ condescending look, more importantly his vengeful thoughts.
Part of her wanted to storm up to him, to get in his face. What the hell is your problem? Are you really so incompetent and so dull that you can’t begin to comprehend that the world doesn’t bend around you? That some people actually care about their future as to not storm around like they own the place? All you had to do was go around me! But no, you really just needed a reason to snap at someone, because you’re too stubborn to admit that you’re really just unhappy with yourself and you take that out on me, a total stranger.
But the passive side of her.. left her defeated on the wall, unwilling to start confrontation.
She looked as Eri got her attention, looking vaguely annoyed and truthfully confused. Evie’s face flushed.
“Sorry,” she muttered, her voice low. “I was trying to tell you to go prank that kid over there,” she pointed subtly at Azazel. “The one you were going to prank.. just seemed pissed we were anywhere near him, like he was ready to strangle both of us.” She explained briefly, ducking her head and apologizing again.
But that doesn’t mean I’ll give up on you, mystery kid.
She glanced back at him as he twirled a flame between his fingers.

Manuel realized that the Power Management class was over, and sped over to his next class after reminding himself to do the assignment later on. After getting his keys and accessing his locker, he decided to change his clothes to some that were slightly more fit for physical activities. He change into his usual white shirt, this time wearing brown shorts and black sneakers. He then ran into the gym, hoping not to be late once more.
And he was late. Again.
Luckily, he had overheard the teacher's instructions, and formed a line near other students, although he was a bit worried about playing dodgeball.
Why DODGEBALL of all things!? I don't have many good memories of this game... I can only hope I've gotten better over the years...

"That's exactly the reason!" Eri grined at Evie's answer. "Don't be a chicken, I'm sure his reaction will be interesting to watch!"

She likes to play pranks on people that won't expect other people to prank them. They just had interesting response to watch. This habit of her was the reason why she had been dropped to earth.

"Can you play dodgeball, Ev?" She asked the girl beside her while trying to figure out a way to play dodgeball without using her right hand.

Evie pursed her lip, humming in thought, amused that Eri has managed to make a nickname from her nickname.
“Mm, I’m not bad, I guess. I can dodge and whatever, but throwing is not my forté. You?”
She was hoping Eri could throw, and that the pair could devise a system of sorts; Evie, who was lithe and a good runner, could run after, retrieve, and give the balls to Eri, who could hopefully throw. If that were the case, the duo could prove quite the team. However, it all depended on whether or not she could throw. If not, maybe they could both just run away from the ball together.
Evie had really always been good at defense in multiplayer games- all it took was a quick skim of her opponent’s strategy in their mind and she just had to find a way to deflect it (Battleship was always her favorite, hehe). Dodgeball was no easy task, however she was able to figure out when people were aiming at her, regardless if she looked their way, which proved quite handy.

Upon hearing that today's activity was dodgeball Caelia immediately raised her hand and posed a question, "Are we allowed to kick the ball?" She wasn't that confident when it came to her arm strength, but her legs were an entirely different question. Either way, the game suited her just fine she was small, light, and quick on her feet and the whistle of the wind as the balls flew through the air would allow her to vaguely track their position even if she couldn't see them. Her dodging abilities would be put to good use during this game, so her only concern would be whether her kicking strength could be used as well.

"yes, I'm good at throwing." Eri gave her a thumb up to reassure her. She was decent at throwing those javelins of destruction, but she never played dodgeball before so she didn't really know her skill at this human's sport.

Luckily, one of the manga she read the night before was about a highschooler volleyball team. So she got the gist of what the rules was. Dodgeball was about hitting your opponent while volleyball was about not hitting your opponent, right? Easy! She moved her hand in an arc in oder to practice some throwing technique she had seen.

Coach Spejka blinked at Caelia, a bit caught off guard by the question. The woman turned to glance at one of the older supervisors, arching her brow in a “well?” kind of way. The older man shrugged, so Coach turned back to Caelia, hand on her hip as she studied the small girl, clearly interested in why she’d ask a question like that, before nodding.

Coach split them up into two random teams, and amongst all the strangers, the redeemable people were split up as so:

On Team A, Evie was lucky enough to have Eri, as well as Ryder, Jess, Nicolite, Drake, Six, and Sevens (N-0073).

And on the opposing team, Team B, were Azazel, Abyss (Evie’s heart fell at this, a determined panic settling into her), Parker, Oma, Caelia, Manuel, Seven, and Kai.

With a sharp blow from the whistle, the game started.

Seems like the coach improvised the game. It's an eight vs eight game, with four starting balls on each side. Well, whatever! Eri quickly grabbed the nearest ball and threw it at Azazel... at least that was her intention, but the ball stuck on her hand instead.

HOLYYY!! She totally forgot about the glue plaster. Now with a ball sticking on her hand, she assumed a defensive stance. Ready to block or dodge incoming balls.

Abyss at first, couldn't care less about which team he was on, but now that he knew he could pin down Evalynn with a ball, his eyes gleamed with an almost unnatural happiness. He grabbed a ball and initially targeted the weakling, however, he saw that a clumsy girl had the dumb idea to glue a ball to her hand. Abyss capitalized this weakness and threw a ball to Eri's direction, using an ice blast to boost speed before releasing it.

Evie ducked occasionally to dodge the few balls that came her way, but the majority of people were just aiming for their friends. She knew that Abyss would target here eventually, but it seemed now he was aiming for Eri, who was.. seemingly having some difficulties.
“Eri, look out,” She shouted, past the cacophony of laughter and yelling as Abyss targeted her. However, with a ball stuck on her hand, she could hit others out of the way when they came at her.
Evie shot a glare towards the boy, the ice in her eyes matching the ice in his hands.

Dodgeball was never fun for Parker. At his old schools everyone on both teams would end up forming a single team against him, he didn't exactly like the game. At least at this school he would be allowed to use his power... except he couldn't do that either because he would incinerate the ball and possibly another player. He sighed and sat down on the corner of the court, deciding that he would be more useful out of the way of everyone who actually cared about the game. Not like anybody here knew him or cared, they were all aiming for the friends or enemies that Parker didn't have.

He noticed the girl that had wanted to shake his hand earlier appear to have a ball stuck to the same hand. He figured she had really just wanted to prank him.

Ahhh, so that's what she was up to... I shouldn't be surprised.

Eri saw a boy aiming at her, she braced herself and succesfully blocked the ball with her own ball, the ball bounced and rolled to the edge of team A's area. Though she was surprised at the speed of the ball, she would've been hit if she didn't saw it coming.

"Chill, dude!" She said to the boy who threw the ball. Then she realized that the ball had a bit of ice on it, and she just scored a pun! Horaay for Eri! She smirked to the ice boy, still keeping her defensive posture. It's not like she could do anything when this ball still stuck on her hand.

At first, Abyss was fueled to personally end her life in an icy hell until she would beg at her knees to be hit by a ball as an alternative. However, he decided against it momentarily, going to pick up another ball and aimed to throw it at someone else, before he wound it up and threw it at Eri yet again, this time aiming for her face and an extra ice boost to boot.
She is going to regret mocking me, soon, she'll regret ever meeting me.

Evie, catching the pun, tried to withhold her laughter, only to snort whilst trying to contain it, which triggered a helpless giggle fit, the girl doubled over as she tried to regain her composure. Finally, she stood, her smile evident. Vaguely out of breath from laughing, Evie shouted quickly,
“Ohmygod Eri that wAS EVERYTHING-“, making sure to catch Abyss’ eye before flashing a sweet, charming smile, that honestly looked genuine- however, the teasing in her face was noticeable.
Evie had taken it upon herself to be a ball-fetcher of sorts, scrambling around and picking them up as she ran, shoving them into the hands of strangers, who stayed stunned for a split second before throwing.

Admittedly- and she hated to give in and think this- she really was having fun.

While others were having a good time, Drake was having one heck of a time trying to dodge attacks. He was pretty fit, so it wasn't too hard, really. In fact, it felt pretty nice to be dodging balls instead of slashes or bullets for once. Drake caught a ball Evie handed him and turned to throw, only to find two balls heading straight towards him. He knew there was no time to react. Aw, man. What a way to go...Drake though. He tried to sidestep, but it was clear he was going to be hit. Then... Somewhat of a painful miracle occurred.

Drake's left foot, the one that had sidestepped, lost it's grip on the ground. His leg shot out from under him, causing Drake to fall and the two balls to miss their target. Unfortunately, with a yelp Drake was put into an extemely painful forced splits.
"Oh, god why..." Drake muttered, curling in a ball for a moment. He scrambled to his feet, dodging another ball. Taking careful aim, Drake randomly selected Parker for his target and chucked the dodgeball at him.

She was dodging another ball when another iced ball coming right at her face. Caught off guard, she resorted to use both of her hands to held her ball and blocked the iced ball. Though the force was strong enough to slam her own hands against her face. She winced for a moment. All right, time for counterattack!

She picked up a stray ball and pulled down her sunglasses to cover her eyes. Then, she threw the ball at Abyss in a high loop, picked up another ball and quickly activate the spell. A blinding light suddenly erupted from the ball she just threw. This should stun him for a brief moment, probably. Taking advantage of the blinding light, she threw properly her second ball right at Abyss, she threw it with her left hand though so the ball was slower than she thought.

Abyss was taken aback by the sudden counterattack. Instead of an icy scowl, his facial expression took the form of a smirk, seemingly happy that one of these people could put up a fight. The first ball would have hit him in the stomach, sending him into a temporary state of paralysis had he not blocked it with an icicle. By the time he finished with the first ball, the second ball Eri threw with her left hand had lost speed and rolled to his foot. Abyss happily picked it up and threw his hardest at Evie, adding an ice boost at the climax of the throw.

Caelia bobbed and weaved, spending the majority of her time behind Abyss and hoping he'd be a good enough meat shield to block any balls aimed at her. Her strategy seemed to be working wonders especially since her meatshield had decided to raise such a commotion and make himself the center of attention. She held a dodgeball in her hand and her ears rotated in every which direction like radars, listening for both incoming dodge balls as well as opportunities to strike. When she heard Evie giggling to herself and teasing Abyss, Caelia eyes sparkled, 'She was distracted!' Caelia dropped the ball in her hand allowing it to bounce once before she gave it a fierce kick, attempting to keep the ball low so her target couldn't catch it. The ball rocketed along, just above the ground as it was aimed at Evie's legs.

As much as he didn't want to participate, Parker also didn't want to be nailed with a dodgeball. He was still sitting on the ground when Drake rocketed the rubber ball at him, but it wasn't too much of a problem. He reached his hands out in front of him, forming a barricade and preparing to catch the ball. Both of Parker's hands ignited, Shadow Flames bounding off of his lower arms. The ball made contact with his hands and immediately began to burn. Now that the fire had made direct contact with the ball, there was no way to put it out unless Parker really strained himself to do so.

No point in wasting so much energy just to save a ball.

He held the ball in his hands as it slowly began to turn to ash. Once the Shadow Flames had finished consuming the ball, there remained nothing but a small pile of ash on the ground in front of Parker. The boy remained seated and once again began to play with a small Shadow Flame wisp in his hands. Hopefully nobody else would bother him with their game.

Azazel grinned and made his way to his team's side of the court, where he got ready for the match to start. Once the whistle blew, the gym descended into chaos as balls were flung to and fro. One student had hurled a ball that flew straight for Azazel's torso, but the teen managed to dodge it with ease. He ran toward the ball that now rolled on the ground, snatched it up from the floor and turned to face the other team, spinning the ball on the tip of his index finger with a smile. Azazel scanned the other side of the court for a possible target, and randomly selecting Drake, he tossed the ball straight up in the air before spinning and jumping in the air, unleashing a powerful kick that met its target straight on. The ball whizzed through the air with perfect aim, set on a speedy course for Drake's left shin.

Manuel attempted to dodge balls thrown at him as fast as possible, electricity coursing through his veins. He quickly grabbed any balls he could find lying on the ground, giving them to whoever seemed that could throw stronger than him. As he did this, he noticed Abyss's raw power, throwing balls at the opposing team without mercy.
Man, this guy just won’t go easy on them.
Manuel kept an extra ball for himself, and tried to figure out a way to throw the ball as hard as he could.
I’m not going easy either!
He spun around with the ball in hand, boosting himself with electricity and released the ball with the right timing, aimed at Jess.

When the game started Jess went over to her team and stayed at the back of the court as the game started and instantly balls went flying. Jess panicked, resulting to her hair changing colors rapidly from the brightest pink to the most sickening green and tried to dodge every ball that were flying towards her. Soon after she managed to get a ball and noticed that her some of her classmates were using their abilities and powers to give them advantages.
"My powers would only make myself a target" Jess thought to her self and soon realized that a ball was hurling toward her. She ducked as fast as she could and the ball barley touched her which was quite lucky, though a another ball like would come towards her it would probably hit her. Still the ball in her hands Jess took the aim towards the bunny girl and threw it and if she remembered her name was Caelia, but it doesn't really matter right now.

Drake watched his ball speed towards Parker, only for the black-clothes boy to burn the ball to ashes with his bare hands. He seemed to be using some sort of dark flame.
"What... Ah... Coach!" Drake exclaimed. While he was distracted, however, a dodgeball thrown by Azazel struck him in the shin. Drake glanced down disappointed, then walked off the court.
"Dang it..." Drake muttered. He sat down on the bench and watched the match. The teams seemed a little more... Uneven now. Seven still hadn't shown up, meaning the showdown was now six on eight. Dang, they could have used Steven's ninja skills!
"C'mon, guys! You got this!" Drake cheered from the sidelines.

Evie was, it seemed, in a bit of a predicament. On her upper half, a frozen rubber sphere was hurling towards her shoulder, and below her waist, a subject to one of the most powerful kicks she’d ever seen was coming her way. Her only advantage, really, was that she’d briefly seen it coming, thus having enough time to make up a scrambled, split-second plan. She ducked out of the way of Abyss’ ball (quite frankly, she didn’t care if she got out, really, as long as she didn’t get out by Abyss), and, just as Caelia’s ball made it’s way towards her, she promptly sat down as to be at level with the ball to catch it.

It wasn’t the best plan, but it would’ve worked if it weren’t for the girl’s crippling clumsiness.

She clamped her hands around the ball as soon as she could, or at least attempted to, because as soon as it hit her hand, her grip failed, the ball slipping out of her hand and bouncing feebly to the ground.

She sat there for a moment, appalled that she’d make so dumb of a mistake, but it technically did hit her hand so technically she was, in fact, out.

Really just happy that Abyss hadn’t been the one to get her out, she got to her feet and crossed the gym floor, having to duck out of the way of a ball while doing so, before she sat down a few feet away from Drake on the universal “Out-Bench-of-Shame”.

“I was so close,” she sighed, a vaguely disappointed yet incredibly amused grin on her face as she leaned her head back to study the ceiling. She dropped her head to look at the boy next to her. “You’re.. Drake, right?”

"Yeah, that's me. And you're... Evie?" Drake said, looking at the girl. Even though she was out, she seemed to be enjoying herself. Wait a second... She was the girl that helped up Seven back in Power Management. Well... She was caring, and pretty brave to help up someone who had attacked without provocation. Drake looked back at the dodgeball match. "Hmm... This doesn't look like it's going quite well... Now we're stuck with 5 against 8."
Drake watched in surprise as a girl with rapidly changing hair color threw a panicked ball at Caelia.
"On the plus side, this is a pretty good time to observe people's powers." Drake said. He turned back to Evie. "How you doin'?"

Evie nodded at his question, although it was more of a confirmation. Although he seemed a little bummed that the team was down to five, the girl felt pretty confident that Eri would prove quite the challenge to get out.
The pair sat in silence for a moment, both studying a girl with.. identifiably bright hair throw a ball at Caelia, however the silence was broken with Drake asking her how she was, his thoughts recognizing her as the girl who helped Seven, rendering her “brave” in his mind, which was enough to make her chuckle.
“I’m pretty good, about as good as I can be. Seems I’ve made a little handful of friends, maybe even an enemy,” she replied, sheepishly ducking her head. “You?”

"Well... I met an old friend. I mean, hopefully she's a friend. Its a little complicated right now. But I made a new friend, I think. And hopefully I haven't made an enemy, although I wouldn't be surprised if I did. I might have acted a little harsh earlier today." Drake said. He leaned back, watching the game. "Hopefully, I'm gonna make three more friends later when we get our dorms assigned. I'm a little nervous about that, considering we're going to be living with these people until further notice, but I'm sure it will be fine."
Drake glanced at Evie again, noticing her varsity jacket. He turned to the girl.
"Do you play a sport, or...?"

The girl seemed to sit up a little straighter, a slight grin of pride tugging softly at the corner of her lip.
“I do! Well, did. I was on the track team for my local high school- pole vaulting- when I was in the eighth grade, before I transferred here for..”
She paused, looking at her hands. “Power reasons.”
She went quite for a moment, seemingly missing her team. “I wasn’t bad, if I do say so myself, but Lauren god-damn Marie had me beat.” She shook her head, looking slightly bitter but also wistful. She leaned back to study the game. “I noticed a track and a football field out back, but I haven’t heard anything about a team,” she noted defeatedly; it was clear the small girl was incredibly passionate about her sport. Pole-vaulting wasn’t the most common activity, and for that, it really did feel like hers.

At that moment her face flushed lightly.
“Oh, God. I’m totally ranting, aren’t I? Sorry,” she apologized lightly, ducking her head and chuckling quietly.

This game would take a long time, it seems. Oh wait, maybe not that long. Some students had been counted out. They're the pair who tried to kill each other before and Evie, and all of them were in team A with her, what the heaven! There's also 6 balls left on the arena, one still stuck on her hand and the other one had been burned by the sitting boy.

Now with the odd against her team, Eri was pumped out and shifted to a more aggresive stance. This felt like she was a protagonist in an underdog sport manga! She was trying her best to threw those balls with her left hand when she noticed the coach giving her a signal to come to her. She approached the coach while dodging some stray balls.

"Eri, you're out." Eri took a moment to preceed what she just said. Wait, whatt?!!

"B-but I haven't got hit by the ball!"

"I'm sorry, I correct what I said. You are not out, but you are eliminated for holding a ball for too long." The coach gesture her to the bench, where Evie and another boy was dong a conversation. Eri sighed and went to the restroom instead. She gave the ball a quick pull and succesfully removes it from her hand. Phew.

She wondered why the glue last quite long in the dodgeball game. Definitely more than a minute. She examined the leftover plaster on her palm. She had used 3 of them today in the same place. Could it be the effect stacks if you put one on top of another? That would be interesting experiment for later, but now she had learned the hard way not to use herself as a test subject for prank items. She should just stick with sticking it on the teacher's chair. She spent the next few minutes trying to remove the leftover plasters from her palm while walking to the bench.

"No, no, not at all! I had a friend who would go on for much longer. Except his was about Fencing, and not Track. Tony would go on and on about the difficulty and inmportance of proper form, and rapiers vs sabers and all that stuff! That was, before we..." Drake trailed off, his smile fading for a moment. Suddenly, he was back to normal like nothing ever happened. "Anyway, school sports were never my style, really. But if there's a track team here, I might try for it."
Because I'm probably gonna need to be able to run well, with my lack of power and all... Drake thought.

Looking back at the dodgeball match, Drake noticed that another member of their team had gotten out, a girl with long blonde hair and a v neck. She appeared to have gotten some sort of plaster or other white stuff on her hand. Did it have to do with her powers? Did she have glue powers?!?
"So..." Drake said casually to Eri. "What're you in for?"

Evie perked up, seemingly interested. Fencing? That was so cool!
Her interest didn’t fade, in fact, when he trailed off, and she actually bit her lip to stop herself from prompting questions, and she actually stopped herself from going through his mind.
“Oh! That’s really cool, maybe we could be track friends,” she suggested, a sly little grin making its way to her face. Track rivals, ooooohh~

“Awh, Eri,” she cooed sympathetically. Her eyebrow furrowed at a further thought. “Wait, but you didn’t even get hit!”

"Well, apparently the couch think I'm too good for this game. So she took me out for... balancing issue." Eri answered with a grin on her face. May as well made herself looks good.

"Anyway. Now that our team has been cut to half. We're wrecked." She sat down beside Evie, drinking some water from her bottle.

While she hadn't been expecting her first ball to hit, it was a very welcome surprise. What was even more surprising is that Evie had been one of three members of team A to go down in an extremely short period of time. While she stayed hidden behind Abyss, Caelia location a pair of balls together, and an idea formed in her head. She dived from behind her cover, her figure almost as small as the dodgeballs trying to hit her as she rolled across the court. She scrambled to her feet and raced over to the first ball, placing both hands on it and throwing it straight into the air. When she got close to the second ball she scooped it up and held it under her arm before jumping. Though it was less like jumping and more like flying as she leaped high above the court almost smacking her head on the gym's ceiling. The ball she'd thrown earlier had also completed its ascent, and while in mid aim she randomly took aim at a team A player and kicked the ball downwards, causing it to hurtle through the air like a meteor, heading towards one unlucky student, who just happened to be Six.

Drake chuckled at Eri's response.
"Well, I wish you hadn't been so good and stayed in. Our team's getting creamed!" Drake said, jokingly. "Can't we get at least whaaaaaaat..."
Drake's jaw dropped as he watched the current scene unfold. The rabbit girl he had met earlier, Caelia, had tossed a ball into the air. That wasn't the shocking part. The shocking part was her LEAP TO THE ROOF OF THE GYM to kick it down like a meteor toward one of her opponents. Drake gestured to Caelia, then looked over at Evie and Eri to make sure they were seeing what he was seeing. Drake turned to Evie.
"Do you think Caelia should try out for high jump?" Drake asked.

Evie gulped at the situation, massively intimidated but also incredibly impressed.
She managed a soft, breathless “yeah”, in response to Drake’s tentative question. She could really only imagine- if that- having that sort of power in her body.
Inspired by her display, Evie found herself staring, trying to comprehend how she could even get to a fraction of that performance.
“Wow. That’s.. incredible,” she mused, managing a soft chuckle as she really couldn’t make any other noise in the midst of her awe.

Azazel's jaw dropped as he watched Jess leap into the air, gaining astounding height. Holy shi-- His awe was cut short when he saw another student fling ball his way in his periphery, and the teen ducked, avoiding the projectile by a narrow margin. He snatched up a nearby ball from the ground and hurled it at another student, hitting the palm of his hand and bouncing away. Azazel smirked and mentally pumped a fist into the air in triumph. I'm on a roll right now.

At first, Abyss didn't care a ball was flying suspiciously towards him if he got out, he was out. However, he turned around and saw Caelia using him as a meatshield. This sent the adolescent into a state of perpetual rage where the only thing on his mind was making Caelia's life a living hell.
"The minute we get out of this game, you're dead," Abyss threatened to the bunny girl right as the ball hit him square on the head, knocking him out.

Evie, who’d watched the whole thing, clasped a hand over her mouth as the unconscious body of Abyss crumpled pitifully to the ground.
She found herself standing up from the bench, almost against her own will, jogging over to him as the Coach did as well. It kind of just happened.
Sure, he’d been awful to her, and yeah, he’d probably slap her as soon as she approached, but she still felt required to make sure he was alright; she couldn’t bring herself to not, really.
She knelt beside him as the Coach briefly called a medic, her tone calm as though she’d expected this, however slight surprise danced in her eyes (and thoughts, Evie may add), as she hadn’t expected it to be him to be the brutal target.
Evie, concerned despite herself, lightly shook his shoulder.
“Hey- hey- are you alright?” She asked. Her voice was slow, not necessarily frantic, although she’d been quick to jump from the bench.
His thoughts had faded to practically TV static, which was odd- Evie has plunged into the thoughts of many fainted people, but their thoughts strictly played what had just happened on a repeat. For Abyss, it was like there was no thought even there to look at. She pursed her lip, puzzled.

Abyss slowly awoke, confused at what was currently happening, there was a nice girl who was asking if he was alright and a teacher, seemingly a gym coach calling someone on her phone.
"Yes, I'm alright, but who are you?" Abyss turned his head to Evalynn, who seemed confused as he looked at him. This troubled the adolescent and prompted him to figure out the root of the nice girl's confusion, it was the least he could do for her.
"Hey, what's wrong? Did I do something?"

Evie immediately sensed something was wrong, confusion flashing in her chocolate eyes. She opened her mouth to speak, quickly cut off as the Coach helped Abyss to his feet and ushered him away, directing him to the nurse’s office.
She turned to the class, signaling for them to head into the locker rooms to change and leave.
Some groaned, annoyed by the a abrupt end of their game, but they obeyed, some more reluctant than others, Evie among them one of the slower to leave. Mindless chatter instantly erupted from the students, gossip being exchanged and rumors being created, questions desperately being asked.

Tentatively, Evie pushed through the crowd and hurried to the locker room, changing quickly before brushing past the incoming girls pushing in, standing outside the door awkwardly, waiting for Azazel, hoping that, as he’d been closer to Abyss when it happened, maybe he’d have some insight. Hell, not even him, anyone really- Eri, Caelia, Drake..
Something was odd, and she could tell.
