  1. Can only catch the first Pokemon in a new area.
  2. If a Pokemon faints, it’s considered dead and must either be released or permanently boxed away.
  3. Must nickname all Pokemon.
  4. No items in battle.
  5. Set mode.
  6. Cannot overlevel the gym leader and first elite four member. Pokemon is considered "dead" if it goes past the level cap.
  7. Cannot catch same type of Pokemon.
