Hey! In the meantime, would you like to answer my riddle?
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
The answer is no, it doesn't. For no one to hear an audible fall, I would have to first leave the forest, as that's where my friends are. Even once far away from them, though, I would still hear it myself. Thus, the only way to fall in a crowded forest yet retain the idea that no one is around to hear it is for the very action of the fall to, fundamentally, not produce any sound at all, in a reality where distance has no effect on sound travel, and/or in a reality where the event of sound demands different prequisites that falling simply does not satisfy.
Admittedly, I did not design this riddle. I suppose the answer would be yes if the mention of conscious beings needed to perceive the sound did not extend to me nor the rest of us... That would be rediculous, though, wouldn't it? *Chuckles*
