Battle Bond isn't an issue, since it is just by the creator's discretion unless it is used on a Pokemon that has a possible Mega Evolution. Mega Evolution needs permission though.

And if I read things correctly at my brief glance, the problem for Battle Bond was that it was a Gengar, which has a Mega Evolution already.

I wasn't going to use Gengar for Mega Evolution. I simply chose Gengar for the Battle Bond because it's my favourite Pokemon.
