It all started in another forum called NUF, short for Novel Updates Forum, which is a community forum for Anime, Manga, Light Novel, and the whole works. People who do get involved in the community generally come out weirder than when entered and my specific 'generation' of forumers was no different.

We have this very cursed thread there called 21 Dares. It's a community game just like what you might find in the Playground on Charms, however, the games we played there were a whole different breed of weird and whacky since NUF has less in the way of moderation.

The rules are as follows:

Each poster can say up to three numbers each post.
The person to reach 21 has to say either "Truth", or "Dare", and then someone gives them either a truth or dare.
ex:
Person 1: 1 2 3
Person 2: 4
Person 3: 5 6

.
Person X: 21 dare
Random: Say you love cats as your status

So the first time I flipped and did a female avatar and all was because of a dare in that thread. Specifically, it was this dare:

Now, that wasn't really much of a problem. I was pretty begrudging at first but a dares a dare so I was a girl for 24 hrs. Not too bad, but I secretly swore vengeance against that person and, having learned absolutely nothing I returned to the thread.

This is a much longer story that that love lol, I was just searching through the thread for old posts.

The vampirism is because kyuuketsuki means vampire. As you might have noticed, kyuukestu is very similar. So people often mistake my name for meaning vampire and I ended up embracing it.

The next time I got hit with that dare was when problem really started showing up.

Because I was a flirtatious girl for a week, that naturally meant I had to flirt with people...taking petty revenge I went after the person that gave me the dare because we were pretty good friends anyway. However, this only served to backfire massively later on because we ended up with a reputation as a couple.

It wasn't a serious reputation but a few of the Fujoshi's around the forum shipped the relationship.

In case you don't know what a Fujoshi is, it refers to a person who's into BL, which stands for Boy's Love, and refers to a romantic story set between two males.

NUF has a strong and whacky community and the Fujoshi's, in particular, have an entire thread dedicated to their talk called the Danmei Room.

They went on a whole BL spree and I switched to female avatars and the like as a defense mechanism against them. I made a profile post about it somewhere on NUF but it'll take me a min to find it.
