Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
You respect teachers? You'd probably think twice about that if you ever met mine. Because she's really annoying. I've told her I have trouble hearing and yet she still go from almost yelling to a whisper when she reads from a book. Every. Goddamn. Sentence.
I rarely manage to pay attention to her for more than a minute at a time because she's really boring
Still, they get terrible pay and have to deal with us all the time. I've only seen two good classrooms, one was an AP class (so college credit) and the other the teacher interacted with his students, making them like him and follow his rules.
They chose that job so I don't feel bad for them. Nobody forced them to take that job. The annoying students should stop whatever they're doing and respect the teachers, sure. But the teachers knew what they signed up for.
But there's always really really bad teachers and there always will be
The only good teachers I had were my third grade one who was fun and my sixth grade one who taught us calculus.
Yes you read that right
As for bad ones, that’d be everyone else. And don’t say I don’t know anything cuz I’m a kid. I’ve had my turn in the trash compactor of life more than my fair share of times.
By the time I was your age night I had almost died, been abused, been bullied, been harrassed, experienced the death of 3 dogs, 1 cat (plus a cat ran away), 1 hamster and both my grandpas. Also my brother was taken away by his dad so I know that a 12 year old can deal with shit
I've only been fully bullied once (Some kids would make jabs at me, but they never actively bullied me) by some short kid who just randomly decided to annoy me.
Probably because he wanted to act tough, and I was an easy target since I'm so passive and a bit of a loner. I mostly ignored him, he even started punching my body to get my attention.
Nah I'm good. That was about 8 years ago. Except the near-death thing. That happened when I was 5. And the bullying stopped 5 years ago (the last of my bullies wasn't even a bully, he just hated me for no reason)
I don't hate them, but I avoid hugs if possible. After my friends come over, sometimes our parents make us hug as a good-bye, which is a bit awkward since we use them high-fives.
It's just a stiff embrace that lasts a second, really.
If we're talking about bad teachers, I'd say my Y5 teacher. She constantly bullied my friends and I. Pretty sure she was racist too, like everyone who had her thought she was racist.
My first-third grade teacher. She's the one that made me not even pay attention in class. French teacher. He only taught me about football and not in French. There's a teacher I didn't have but called me, and everyone I was with that time pigs for being a little too loud. She resorted to name-calling immediately instead of asking us to keep it down a little
Our class was the best behaved class. And we had a guy who drew a pentagram in the bathroom using salt from McDonald's. To this day I'm one of the only people who can snitch on him
