Platinum is where it’s at. Sinnoh was peak Pokémon in terms of Anime/Game content imo.

Never played X. I stopped playing after Black&White 2.
I was really put off by the animated sprites in gen 5, so the changes in gen 6 acted as the nail in the coffin.
