Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Along with 3 iron horse armors, 3 gold horse armors, and a heck ton of saddles. Looks like a horse stable is gonna be my next project, instead of getting started on automatic farms and an auto smelter.
Somewhat. I've learned some basic things myself, everything else I learn from YouTube and either replicate or attempt my own probably less efficient version-
90% of my auto farms just end up ultimately being a dispenser with water, and hoppers, tho-
Oh, I've made an automatic door for villagers before. All I did was put daylight sensors over iron doors, so that at night, they close and don't open til morning. It actually works pretty well, plus the villagers usually start going in as soon as it starts getting dark, and the doors don't work til its completely night.
Sounds useless, but when you have idiotic suicidal villagers like mine who like swapping houses several times a night, it's nice. Helps keep them from getting murdered by zombies. XD
What I did with mine was create a small "apartment complex" type thing, with a two block wide hall, and put the iron doors at the end. The villagers run into the houses, then the doors shut once it gets dark enough, then if they come out, nothing can get them. Didn't completely enclose the hall, since I was worried it'd make the villagers see it as a house and not count the rooms as houses.
I've never gotten as far as to make a place for the villagers. I got close with one world on my previous phone but the phone broke down and everything on it was lost.
I've only gotten to play the Xbox 360 version (Which was stuck on TU13 until about a year ago when I finally managed to get it to update) and the 3DS version. I've thought about trying pocket edition, but I've heard the controls aren't the greatest.
I’ve tried it on Xbox 360 and PS4 and I gotta say that I prefer the controls on PE. Maybe I’m biased because I’m more used to those controls. I just find it weird to play Minecraft with a controller lol
There's several games I've played on mobile that I'd probably find weird to play with a controller as well, so I can't say much about that. The PE controls surely have to be better than the 3DS ones at least, tho. XD I've never played in survival with mobs on in the 3DS version because I know it'd be ridiculously difficult with the controls. Especially if I tried to fight a mob in water.
Fair. Never tried it on a 3ds. I want to play on PC because those controls must be the best. But I only have a laptop that can’t support the game and my phone so that’s gonna have to wait.
Honestly the biggest problem I face on PE is lag and low frames. Those can get quite bad so I usually play with keep inventory so I won’t lose everything because of it lol
3DS version is awful about lag too. In fact, I built a village in one of my worlds, and added villagers, then went to the nether because I wanted to build stuff there. Came back, it lags so bad I literally can't do anything. I've tried waiting a few minutes to see if it'll clear up, around 5 minutes later still nothing. :/ It's been a week and I still don't know how to fix it.
Damn that sucks. I haven't experienced lag that bad. The most I've ever gotten is that the screen freeze for a few seconds to a minute. Not more than that
Yeah. ;-; Though my Xbox 360 is really old and doesn't work super great nowadays, I prefer playing Minecraft on it A LOT more than my 3DS. Even mining stuff in creative is difficult in 3DS version, try to break one block and you break two or three instead. It's really only good for making "concept" builds to later remake on my Xbox. :/
