I haven't really kept count, because I release most of them immediately. I'm at 76 candy right now, but it's gotten to the point that each power-up costs two + 1300 dust.
Put a little Dust into an already high-level Eevee I found since I have nearly enough candy to evolve it.

I still haven't found an Eevee yet sadly, but spent most of my dust on my Beedrill so far; but I have 8k stardust saved for whenever I need it.
