Well, I play it as a school instrument as well. However, we have "chairs' or places for how well you play that string instrument. For example, I'm in first chair. That means I sit in the very front. Chairs vary on how many instruments there is in your group. You've seen a full orchestra, right? They sit in certain chairs on how well they play. Does all of my blabbering make sense? xD

Yes, I understand what you are saying, our school just assigns seats every month or so-how we play doesn't make a difference apparently.
