Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Yeah... I feel your pain, man. Whenever I feel like that, I just lay on my bed. I've learned from experience that noise and visual stimulation worsens the headache.
Dude, I can't even begin to tell you how good sleep sounds right now. But I have homework to do, and my dad's making me do it, and I need my computer for it... god help me.
...Thank you so much, Diamond, I'm glad I could help you.
...Now that I think about it, I think I know what's been causing the problem the most: not only am I staying up too late on my phone, I'm also continuously checking it throughout the day. That's gonna stop.
I think the #1 major problem, though, is that I'm active while I do my homework. That keeps me sitting literally 24/7. I'm supposed to be doing homework right now, but I'm online. That's gonna stop, too.
I wish I could say the same. It's kinda hard to be subtle about being online when you're typing and are supposed to be writing... that being said, I'm gonna finish my homework. You should probably do the same, Sticks.
So, general advice if you spend a long time on electronic devices:
Firstly, be sure to stand up and walk about a bit every hour or so for at least a few minutes. Using the time to go into the kitchen and drink a glass of water will help – stay hydrated!
Secondly, drop the brightness of your screens down to a reasonable level – that'll help with eyestrain and will also help you sleep.
