I know, it was the same for me. But I wanted to judged the movie for myself before watching some of my favorite anime youtubers judge it or talking with it with my friends.
I laughed at multiple scenes, it can be a bit hard to take the movie seriously after the freak out scene "Light" had. XD
I am not mad at the movie being made, although I do think they should have done some things differently but that is just mu opinion.
Well I had no problems with the actors being american either, but I personally wouldn't call it the best movie.
I personally think they should have kept how Kira killed criminals the same. Instead they had it so all the criminals died "accidental deaths" but still had the police piece things together and believe Kira was behind things.
Yeah I see what you mean. I also didn't really how Ryuk wasn't as wity as he was in the anime, and the fact that they didn't include the potato chip scene D:
True.
I did miss the more cheery and funny Ryuk but it was interesting how they hinted that Ryuk was not his full name and he possibly could be killed by the death note. And it was kinda interesting to see Ryuk act more hostel towards Light. In the original series he said more than once he was on no ones side but despite that he still played along with things and was pretty nice.
And yeah, the way they portrayed Ryuk was interesting as well as Mia. In the anime Mia is madly in love with Light but in the movie she's so manipulative.
