@AspenTR33 Indeed – that's not constructive criticism, that's just bashing. The intention here would be to ensure people specifically focus on telling writers how they can get better.
Well, not everyone wants to be criticised, which is fair – some people just write for fun, not to get better, and I respect that. It is worth listening to constructive criticism for many reasons, though, so I recommend it to all writers who might find it useful.
But honest feedback has been instrumental into getting my writing where it is today, and I'll need lots more to get any better at it. I think it can really help.
