Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
That's cool, but I'm still going to make a system, It's sparked my interest. I probably won't use it here, but it may be useful someday, as long as I keep optimizing it. Carry on with the RP, but I will try to make a computer program that allows for the battle to work.
Right. I almost forgot that this was story-driven RP, but I don't see how simple calculations could kill imaginative sequences. I know that it may seem like a chore to roll a die for every single move, but I want to propose a system that ensures freedom, but also allows for fair gameplay. Of...
Just a quality of life change, can everyone put a bold indicator for when referring to a battle. It's less confusing.
e.g
TEAM X & Y vs. TEAM J & K
Alright before we continue and bail on the battle sequence, let's set up some ground rules and formulas for how battles work. This system I'm going...
The sheer force of Togepi's Hyper Voice propagated flowing sound waves across the stadium, clearing out most of the sand particles obstructing the view. A powered up special move like that was quite dangerous, especially after the Tail Glow, thankfully Sand-Attack was able to lower his...
Yeah, I noticed but didn't point it out because I thought it was only temporary. But I hope @LunarSilvally tones it down a bit especially the force hit on both Nincada and Ralts on the Rock Throw. Seems a bit sketchy.
Nincada nimbly turned her back from the rocks, managing to pull off a half-baked Harden, however the hit still did considerable damage due to the type disadvantage. Thankfully Jackie's still standing. "It's like her Rockruff can see the future. Not to mention that the trainer managed to react to...
Bog watched as Brian's Ralts created lifelike afterimages in front of both his opponents Pokemon. The sheer density of the flickering clones provided a great cover for Nincada to hide behind. Thanks to Nincada's Compund Eyes, the BUG type had no problem seeing through the wall of clones and into...
"Looks like her Rockruff is on the defense, but both of them will take some serious damage from my Steel move given their typing, if I ever do manage to land a hit". Nincada's compound eyes ability allowed it to naturally have heightened accuracy so it was only a matter of time before she would...
"She's wide open, Brian", Bog said to his partner. Bog did not expect the Rockruff's trainer to react immediately, especially given how little distance Nincada had to cover. Thankfully, the improvised Tail Attack did minimal damage to his Pokemon. Bog looked around the arena just in case, Henry...
"I guess I started a bit a late" Bogdan said as he grasped his Pokeball from his bag's back pocket. He tipped over his hat and, eyes darting around looking for the perfect angle for his Pokemon to attack while closing in the least distance, and after fixating to one point near his opponent's...
Bog signaled to Brian that it was time to take their places on their side of the mini ice-stadiums. Bog took both of his Pokemon back to their respective balls and sat on the ground in waiting for their challengers. JC and Henry were going to be their opponents for the first round. Looking at...
I think we're against JC and Henry who consists of Psychic, Normal and Rock but have Shadow Balls. If you're talking about Monty's Bronzor, it has Heatproof so it isn't immune to Ground but it is to Fire.
Bog smiled and went over to the corner with Brian to discuss their battle strategies. Both the trainers seemed to be fairly adept with battling so it seemed easy enough, but this was no time to underestimate our opponents, whoever they may be. Looking at Brians' two Pokemon, it seemed like Brian...
Bog was taken back, responding to the voice that had called his name. Bog was too busy admiring the battle stadium and jumped a little when he heard his name. "Oh, uh Brian, right?", he said while clearly distracted by the figures hot pink pupils that seemed to glow under the shade of his white...
