"Are we students allowed to challenge the Gym Leaders to gym battles?" Andrew said. Alvero noticed the teacher was looking at him, and looked away with a nervous expression on his face.
He wasn't comfortable with eye contact.
"Storm your team?" Alvero whispered to Andrew. He didn't seem to understand what the teacher meant by that.
"It was a joke, Alvero," Andrew said as he sat down, "but Mrs. Roxanne, I have a question."
Andrew stared at Dan for a moment after she insulted him. He was going to say something back, but Roxanne entered the room. Alvero sat down, but Andrew remained standing with a spark in his eye as he looked at Roxanne. "Roxanne! She's a Gym Leader, Alvero! Is this school filled with Gym Leaders...
"Hey! I was the one that challenged her!" Andrew said, pressing the button on his Pokeball causing it to grow from a mini size to a normal sized Pokeball.
"There's already going to be a Pokemon battling course where you'll actually get graded for your Pokemon battle. You should save your...
"Relax, guys. Everything's under control. Our Pokemon won't 'destroy' the classroom." Andrew said, raising and lowering his hands slowly. "All you've got to do is be careful."
"I think the others are right, you should just wait until the Pokemon battling class before you can battle." Alvero...
Alvero and Andrew followed Jane and sat down next to her. They both noticed there wasn't a teacher present at the moment and looked at each other. Andrew looked at his friend with a sort of smirk and Alvero started shaking his head. "What are you up to, Andrew?" Alvero asked him.
"There's no...
"I mean the color is brown like the Earth so it could be a Ground type for all I know." Andrew said, eyeing her egg. He looked over at Alvero.
"Oh! According to the schedule," Alvero said, uncomfortably putting his egg case in one arm and reaching into his pocket for his schedule with the other...
Alvero and Andrew put their eggs inside of their egg cases. "I bet Alvero's Pokemon will be a Steel type; I bet mine will be a Dark or Ghost type; I bet Dan's will be a Rock type; I bet Jane's will be a Water type!" Andrew said with a big grin.
"You changed your mind about this class being...
"That Silver egg looks nice so I guess I'll take that one." Alvero said, picking the Silver Egg. He looked over at Andrew to see which egg he would pick.
"I can't make up my mind between the black egg and the red egg. I guess since my shirt is mostly black, I'll take the black one!" Andrew said...
Alvero and Andrew left the classroom and began heading towards the next class too. "Oh! A Pokemon Breeding class!" Alvero said with a burst of energy as he held his schedule close to his chest.
"Aw man. It's probably going to be all about how to doll up your Pokemon and making them soft. Let me...
"What about Koffing and Weezing?" Andrew said as he rose his hand. Alvero gently slapped himself on the head as if he just remembered those Pokemon as well.
"Oh. I could do that in my sleep!" Andrew said, leaning back into his bean bag.
"Don't say that, Andrew. You didn't know what a Litten was until today." Alvero said.
"Yeah. I guess you may be right."
"Pokemon Categories?" Andrew said, squinting his eyes. "Do you have any idea of what Pokemon Categories are, Alvero?"
"Not really." Alvero said in a low tone once again.
The sudden retraction of the seats caused Alvero to fall on his butt too, but he was soon elevated by the sudden rising of the bean bag chair under him. He placed his hand on his chest, breathing fast as a result of being frightened by the drop. Andrew placed his hands on Alvero's shoulders and...
"Not professional? That's a spitting image of your Mudkip! It's a... It's a..." Andrew said. He began rubbing his chin as he tried to think of a word to describe the sketch.
"Portrait?" Alvero said.
"Yeah! A portait!"
"A Litten," Andrew said slowly, making sure to memorize the name and appearance of the Pokemon, "I'm judging from its appearance that it's a Fire type Pokemon?"
(I know. It's just Alvero and Andrew aren't familiar with the Alola region.)
"Oh." Alvero said, with an intrigued tone. He looked over at the blonde girl, who had a Mudkip and some sort of cat-like Pokemon. "A Mudkip, and... Do you know what Pokemon that cat-looking one is?" He asked Dan.
Andrew looked over towards Dan. He made a shocked expression as he witnessed her speak with her Pokemon. "You can understand what your Pokemon is saying?!" he asked.
