A random poem.

I was bored, I had a word document up...

On a cold day in Hoenn everyone went indoors,
to sit by a fire and warm up once more.

Windows shut tight to keep the cold out,
Hardly any citizens were up and about.

Except, in Fallarbor, for little Lucinda,
Who had happened upon a frostbitten Spinda.

He was cold, he was hungry and tired as well,
But he refused the girl's help and began to rebel.

He got up and ran, fleeing the scene,
Lucinda ran too, declaring, "How mean!"

Spinda dodged Lucy's hands, avoiding her grasp,
"I'm trying to help you!" Lucinda then gasped.

Spinda trudged on, a smile on his face,
He had energy now and he quickened his pace.

Lucinda moved faster, still wanting to help,
But she tripped on a rock and let out a yelp.

Spinda looked back at the girl on the ground,
He went over to help her and he bent down.

"Are you alright?" he asked, brushing dirt off her shoulder,
"I'm fine," She replied, cursing the boulder.

"I'll help you up," Spinda said, extending a hand,
Lucinda smiled, took it, and started to stand.

From that day forward, the two were best friends,
They hung out for hours weekdays and weekends.

And on cold Hoenn days, when all are indoors,
The two are out, chasing each other once more.

THE END.

I really, really liked your rhyming pattern. And the total effect of your poem is cute (could not find any other word... :p)

Keep it up! :)
