Ooc: Okay, basic stuff. Not a gym rp but it is based in johto. Your basic rules and I'll use different colors for npcs. Okay, that's out of the way. Let's get started!

On the outskirts of Olivine City, the sky was smiling on the Wilton Ranch. A spearow cawed happily as Farmer Wilton trotted out of his barn. The sun was shining bright and there wasn't a cloud in sight. "Today is going to be great!" The farmer reached around the barn door and pulled out a bucket with a picker inside. The picker was a simple pincher contraption that was meant to snag berries. Every Saturday morning, Wilton trotted between his berry trees and picked the ripest berries. He worked on a fixed schedule but it was a simple life. You always had work and it brought home enough money. Three pokeballs were attached to his strained belt as he trotted over to the trees. His straw hat would block out most of the sunlight and his overalls would make sure his body was protected. A slight rustling sound whispered through the air as Wilton began his rounds.
Dumping the berries into the bucket, Wilton smiled. Hopefully, he could earn enough money to get his present for Nurse Joy. A small blush came to his cheeks as he dropped one of the latest berries to the ground. Muttering, Wilton bent over to pick it up off the ground when a screeching caw rang through the air. Getting back into a standing stance, Wilton looked around to find the source but found nothing. Shrugging, Wilton picked up his picker when the caw sounded again. Looking to his right, a Fearow darted out of the trees, startling Wilton. The farmer backpedaled before turning around and seeing another Fearow behind him. Turning to his left, another Fearow took flight out of the tree. Confused, Wilton spun slowly in a circle to keep all three within his sight. It didn't take a genius to figure out these guys were angry. The closest one darted towards Wilton with its swordlike beak and the farmer knocked him away with the picker. The other two darted forward and Wilton only had enough time to spot a white cloth band tied around one of the Fearow's legs.
Stretching himself, Lucas brushed himself off from his nap. It was just too pretty today not to spontaneously fall asleep. He brushed his brown hair out of his eyes and pulled down his hoody. Making sure everything was still on him, he headed towards the Olivine Pokemon Center to find out where the important places were. Maybe he could find a gym or restaurant to stop in. He was sure his pokemon were hungry. Lucas scratched his back and headed around a corner when he spotted a parked truck. It had the look of an experienced vehicle, caked with year old dirt and dust. Wooden planks were nailed above the bed to prevent anything from falling out. A slightly heavyset man was leaning against the door and upon spotting Lucas, hurried over. "Hey there, doing anythin' important? Interested in earnin' some money?" Lucas was always interested in money and nodded vigorously at the chance. He was bored anyway. "Well, I just need some help delivering some milk from old man Wilton's farm. Think you can help? You won't be the only one of course." Lucas stroked his chin and nodded. Milk man wasn't such a bad job.
