Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

Arienko had been taking a nap atop a counter in the room when she was awakened by idle chatter of other kids. Her mother had dropped her off early, since her siblings needed to be at their own schools at separate times… which she constantly griped about jokingly at home. Luckily for their family, the need for cars was practically nonexistent, since her mother’s control over her feral form was so great that she could simply change into a giant owl and carry all the kids (while transformed to be smaller, of course) on her back or otherwise.

Ari yawned, revealing pointed incisors, and flicked an ear. She blinked a few times, cranky at having been woken up, but not really caring. The cat stretched luxuriously for a moment before leaping lightly down from the counter. On the way down, she straightened into a human form, pinwheeling her arms to catch herself upon landing. She cocked her head to the side at the other kids’ antics, her short, puffy tail swishing idly. An ear flicked in greeting to them, and she slid to the ground, sitting with legs not quite crossed. “I’m Ari,” she said to no one in particular as her tail continued to flick. “I like cats.”
