A reminder: If you want to ask an RP thread creator if you can join their RP, do so in private - via conversation or profile messages - or via the thread's discussion thread, if one exists. Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

OOC: Sorry, I goofed. For some reason, I thought Eve was a person. Espeon actually isn't too fond of other pokemon, so that shouldn'tve happened.

"Thank you," Alex smiled as he handed Growlithe over to Maker. "That's right, I'm actually from Hoenn. I flew out here to find a fire stone for Growlithe to evolve with. They're pretty rare back home, but I heard they were pretty cheap here in Sinnoh." Alex paused for a moment, thinking of how to phrase his next sentence. "I also figured that this was a pretty good place to study how pokemon rehabilitate from time spent with ... inconsiderate owners. With all the talk about evil teams going on in this region, I thought this would be a good time to finally get started in pokemon behavioral research." Alex held up the flyer he was reading on the couch earlier. "And what would you know, the very first day I'm here, I found out about a talk from a former team member. I'm pretty excited to hear from Ray. I'm sure he's got quite the unique perspective."
