Crimson City. A city that is one of the most technologically advanced places on earth. Filled with Skyscrapers that kiss the clouds, culture flowing through streets, tourist attractions for days. There are some parts of the city which can be considered more poor areas, that some gang culture may or may not be a thing in those areas.

Recently, there has been an increase of superhumans that have mutated to have abnormal and supernatural abilities. Whether they're born with it or something happened to them during their life. Sometimes people that aren't even superhumans get themselves involved with them but can hold their own in certain situations. However, a percentage of those superhumans decide to use their powers for the wrong reasons and endangers the public. Hopefully, some superhumans or people that can stop them will help...right?

The rise of superhumans threatening to cause chaos and hell to the city. A team must be formed to counter those threats and keep harmony in Crimson City. Trying to minimize the repair cost as much as possible, but that's not gonna happen.

Rules:
  • No spam/Double posting
  • No controlling other characters, keep it fair
  • Must at least do three lines with every post, regardless of the context. Even if it's just replying to another character. No one liners at all
  • No too graphic, gore is allowed to an extent but no one wants nightmares from how you described how your character died.
  • Don't make your characters overpowered, make sure they're balanced
  • Death is allowed
  • You can be Good or evil or somewhere in between, there isn't really a limit tbh
  • You can introduce events that happen in the Rp yourself but if there's anything massive make sure you quickly check with me beforehand.
  • Romance is allowed, keep it PG obvs.

Here's mine

Name: Fraser Zero
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Appearance: Brown, curly hair, green eyes, quite well-built muscle wise, often wears a light battle suit when fighting, with some light gauntlets but when in casual, he often wears a black tracksuit and jeans with some grey trainers.
Powers/Abilities: Has no powers...
Strength/Skills: he is incredibly skilled in a variety of fighting skills and is a master in hand to hand combat. He is highly skilled with dual tomahawks and doesn't like to fight without them, but he can if he needs to. He is incredibly good at anticipating his opponents when it comes to what they are going to do next, he can only really do this in close quarter fights through. He wears a pair of light gauntlets on his forearms that are practically indestructible and his first wall of defense, he's especially good at disarming his opponents from their weapons.
Weaknesses: He can't really do much against foes that have magical powers or crazy obscure abilities. He seems to get out of every fight alive somehow
Backstory: (Optional) He grew up in the poorer parts of the city, he always was a good fighter and trained incredibly hard for as long as he could remember. However, his family got involved with the gangs in the area which ultimately lead to his family getting killed, him being the only survivor since the person that tried to kill him died before he could. Fraser now is living off the life insurance of his family and is trying to be a beacon of hope for the city and hopefully, can keep peace on the streets.

Name: Seismic

Appearance: It is a 6"7 machine that is black and grey. It has two led lights for eyes and a mechanical mouth. It as all the body parts of a human but made out of metal.
Powers/Abilities: When it is "Killed" or disassembled, it will slowly build itself back up by the parts slowly moving towards the other parts of the body. It will attract other metals nearby if it needs to substitute certain parts.
Strength/Skills: It is rigged with an uncountable amount of weapons and other gadgets. It has machine guns, bazookas, grenades, jet propellers, nitros, energy blasts, homing missiles, and many other attacks.
Weaknesses: It doesn't have the witt of a human despite it having its own conscious and can sometimes be tricked at times.
Backstory: (Optional) It was built by a mechanic and scientist together at the request of the president. However, it gained its own consciousness and it killed its creators, it now flys around Crimson City sometimes causing chaos or helping the innocent it depends on how it is feeling at the time.
Association with other characters: (Optional) Has a specific hatred to Fraser Zero, for an unkown reason.

Appearance: Dark skin with black spiky hair and matching colored eyes. Lean, athletic build. Often wears a hockey mask, a black jacket with matching colored gloves, a dark grey t-shirt and matching colored cargo pants and black boots while "on duty" as opposed to a blue long sleeved shirt, black jeans and white tennis shoes he wears as casual clothing.
Powers/Abilities: Able to generate explosions from his body.
Strength/Skills: Extensive skill with parkour and is able to think rather well on the fly; showing a knack for improvisation.
Weaknesses: The more powerful the explosive he generates, the more it eats away at his stamina. If he uses too many or too large of an explosion, he will eat up all his stamina and pass out.
Backstory: Growing up in one of the poorer sections of the city, his father walked out on him after his sister was born and his mother works a low-end job for a lot of hours and is rarely around. His sister developed a disease, one that could prove fatal without constant specialized medication. Devin quickly turned to a life of crime to provide money for said medication and some day enough money for a full treatment.

Appearance: Dark skin with black long hair and matching colored eyes. Petite build. Wears white tank top with a yellow skirt and brown shoes.
Powers/Abilities: Able to project her own spirit out of her body and possess living and non-living things.
Strength/Skills: Is smarter than her age would suggest and is quite creative, in both finding solutions to a problem and the use of her ability.
Weaknesses: Not a physical presence whatsoever. Whenever she uses her ability, her body is unconscious and vulnerable. If whatever object or person she possess is destroy or dies, so does her spirit. Possessing living creatures is difficult as ones with strong enough will power can resist and force her spirit out. Not to mention, is she is not medicated, her disease causes pain to her body making it hard to use her power.
Backstory: Growing up in one of the poorer sections of the city, his father walked out on her after she was born and her mother works a low-end job for a lot of hours and is rarely around. Name: Steven Lee
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Appearance: He has brown hair and dark green eyes. He's rather slim and nasty burn on one of his hands, which he has wrapped a bandage around. He also wears a wolf mask when he's using his powers, because it was the only thing he had, and he wants his identity to be a secret.
Powers/Abilities: Steven has aquakinesis, meaning he has manipulation over water. He is able to Lift water, as well as create it using water molecules in the air. He hasn't yet figured out how to turn it to ice, though.
Strength/Skills: Steven knows many survival techniques, and is able to react fast. He is also good at rationing resources, being able to make one meal last a week if he had to.
Weaknesses: As stated, he can't yet control ice, as he hasn't figured out how. His control over water is also limited, so don't expect him to lift up the entire ocean.
Backstory: Steven was on a flight to Crimson City when his plane suddenly crashed with no explanation. Luckily, it landed near an island. which he was able to swim to. The first few days were rough. He ended up making fire, but he badly burned his hand in doing so. But after a few weeks, he began to grow accustom to living on the island, but something didn't seem right. Eventually, he discovered his power to control water. After some training, he build a boat, got in it, and guided himself to land. After walking for a few days, he found a small town, where he told the residents all about what happened, but left out the part about his powers, instead telling them that it was luck that his boat arrived there. His story was all over the news, and he was able to get to Crimson City, where he got a job at an aquarium. But once he found out about the superhumans causing trouble, he started using his powers to protect others while wearing his signature wolf mask, and came to be known as the Water Warrior.
Association with other characters: He never Liked Alex Glider for some reason.
Other: He's a very respected marine biologist.

Gender: Male
Age: 19
Appearance: He has blond hair, blue eyes, and looks like a 16 year old just trying to mess around. He also wears a cape, which he thinks makes him look intimidating, but really just make him look like someone cosplaying as a comic book character.
Powers/Abilities: He is able to jump to great heights, even clearing some skyscrapers, and is then able to glide as if he were a human flying squirrel. Of course, he doesn't have to jump to do this, but he usually does. He's also quite strong, but it's not exactly superhuman strength.
Strength/Skills: He is very stealthy, and is able to get out of sticky situations easily.
Weaknesses: When he fights, he tends to overestimate himself, which can cause him to be caught of guard. He's also not going to win any fist fights against anyone who knows what they're doing.
Backstory: As a child, Alex had never met his parents, and was raise in an orphanage. He started to hang around the the group of rebels at his school and would do whatever they told him to. He was always just a pawn. Once he was 16 he moved out of the orphanage, and tried to get a job. Unfortunately, he didn't have a house now, and couldn't go to school, so he had to live on the streets. Eventually, he discovered his powers, and not knowing what else to do, started helping out criminals for money. Once he found out about the other superhumans, he started helping them out for money instead of average criminals. It didn't matter to him if they had good intentions, or bad. As long as he got paid he was fine.

Appearance: Alex has long silver hair and purple eyes, she usually wears a pair of black pants and a white shirt with a black leather jacket over the top and a pair of large black boots, Alex also has a headset which she rarely takes off, this headset has the ability to create a visor which has the ability to analyse people, objects and anything else and tell her what or who it is.
Powers/Abilities: None
Strength/Skills: Alex has a veriety of gadgets which she uses to assassinate or fight targets this includes: Her headset which can produce a visor which can analyse objects and people, it can also connect to the web, make phone calls and send texts. She has a pair of gauntlets which are equiped with grappling hooks on each gauntlet as well as having ejectable spikes which are on the knuckles which are used for fighting. A pair of boots which increase the hight that she can jump. Duel pistols and a Special sniper-rifle with an enhanced scope a silencer that can transform into a staff which she uses to fight. Alex also has Athletic abilities and minimal hand to hand fighting skill.
Weaknesses: The fact that Alex doesn't have powers makes her feel like she has to do better and makes her go to extremes and near death situations to do better then them. She also likes to kill from a distance and isn't really skilled in hand to hand combat.

Age: 19
Appearance:
Long flowing black hair, with a blonde highlight. She is 5'11". She has brown eyes, fairly tan skin, and is physically built. Her superhero suit is a tight, black leotard. She wears a bandanna to cover the bottom half of her face. She casually wears t-shirts and jeans.
Powers/Abilities:
She is able to copy anyone powers by touching them, but she is only able to copy one power at a time.
Strength/Skills:
Because she doesn't really have her own unique powers, she had to train herself to be able to handle her own in a fight. She has extremely fast reflexes, which is extremely useful when she is trying to steal others abilities. She is also very strong, able to easily beat up people (or monsters, if there are any) much bigger than her size with ease.
Weaknesses:
She cannot absorb other people's abilities if they have something to protect themselves with, like a shield or a suit of armor. The only way Cynthia can steal another persons abilities is if she can touch anything that has the person's DNA, like a strand of hair.
Backstory:
Cynthia, along with many other people, was stuck in a lab. The lab experimented on people who didn't have any superhuman abilities. The people running the lab were trying to see if they could figure out how superhuman's are made, and if they could reverse engineer the superheroes, and finally be able to defeat them. Many of the people who were experimented on couldn't handle the experiments, and died. Cynthia was scared of going through with the experiments, but she was forced, and surprisingly she was successful in survival. But this wasn't the end of the experiments, she was then being experimented on how they could turn her back to normal, but each experiment was so painful. Luckily she had someone who stayed with her during the whole thing, until some superheroes came and destroyed the lab.

Name: Juniper Reeds
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance:
She has short brown here, brown eyes, and wears glasses (unless she's in her superhero suit, that's when she wears contacts). She is just as built as Cynthia, and has pale skin. Her superhero suit is a perfect match with Cynthia's (they work as a team). She casually wears dresses and skirts.
Powers/Abilities:
Juniper has the ability to possess the ability of any material she touches (Example: If she touches Titanium, her whole body becomes that material). When she absorbs the power of the material, she is able to manipulate her body and change them to many shapes, like weapons. She can also then control the material that she had possessed.
Strength/Skills:
Just like Cynthia, Juniper has really high reflexes and strength. But Juniper is different from Cynthia, in which she can easily survey the environment in a battle, and can see what she can use to her advantage.
Weaknesses:
Juniper cannot absorb more than one material at a time. The more material she absorbs, her mentality becomes less stable.
Backstory:
Juniper was in the same lab as Cynthia, and was the lucky someone who had stayed with Cynthia through the whole thing. She was experimented on as well, but with Cynthia with her, she felt at ease. The day the superheroes came to save them, Juniper decided to get a job, and buy a house. Now she lives with Cynthia, and they are happy living together, without having to deal with the experiments anymore.

Wears a bolted collar on his Neck to restrain some of his powers, Has Spikey Blue hair that Shiny's in the sun light, Wears Tattered Green jeans and Has metal Bolted into His shoulder wears a red cloak to hid what has become from the world
Powers/Abilities:
Beast form, his human body becomes one with an animals making him into an animal and human Hybrid, His power shows that several Myths about humanoid monsters are true on what he has become is the basis moreover His heart is protected by a steel cage when he uses his power
Strength/Skills:
Dominic is an excellent Strategist who can easily predicted where his opponent will even when others can not see what is about he can work it out
Weaknesses:
If the restrain around his neck is removed the curse takes over and he becomes a beast desperate to feast on humans and the longer this lasts the more his mind deteriorates until nothing is left
Backstory:
One day while hiking in the mountains Dom came face to face with a creature from Legends a werewolf and ran for his life until falling into a strange cave Where the werewolf Bit him and the Curse began to spread but whilst in there he could tell from the machines that someone had once tried to prevent the curse so using what was their he bolted to his shoulder some armour like piece but it didn't stop the curse so afterwards he bolted a collar to his almost choking himself but it prevented from reaching his brain enabling him to keep his human intellect and he discovered he had minor control of the ability and that it wasn't just a werewolf that he'd become

Appearance: Xeria has slightly tanned skin and wide blue eyes. Her straight black hair reaches her waist, and her bangs cover her eyebrows. When fighting, Xeria wears a short pale blue dress with navy leggings and a slightly short navy cloak. Her casual clothing consists of a black hoodie and jeans with black sneakers.
Powers/Abilities: Xeria has the ability to psychokinetically lift and move objects up to twice her weight and size, including herself. The heavier an object is, the more mental strength is needed.
Strength/Skills: Xeria skilled with dual broadswords, which she uses in fights. She's quite strong for her age, although she isn't very good at hand-to-hand combat. Xeria mostly uses that strength for blocking physical moves with her broadswords.
Weaknesses: Xeria's most affecting weakness is electricity, since it drains her mental strength drastically (and without that, she's a goner). It takes her about five hours to fully gain her strength back.
Backstory: Xeria lived with her aunt since she was three years old and doesn't remember her parents at all. She and her aunt lived in a rented house right next to a giant building where engineers work, so it was always noisy. At the age of thirteen, Xeria discovered her ability by accidentally hurling a hammer without touching it through the wall. After paying for the damage, her aunt couldn't afford the rent, and they had to move to a smaller house in a poor area of the city. When she was fifteen, having learned to control her ability, she began to protect people from the gangs and criminals in the area. Her aunt supported her and even got enough money to buy Xeria a pair of dual broadswords, which she now uses all the time in addition to her ability.

Name: The Creator
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Appearance: Wears a white suit, with a black tie and shiny black shoes with black gloves as well. Wears a mask strapped to the front of his head, made of some sort of special material that looks like crystal on one side and is transparent like glass on the wearer's side. He has short brown hair, as can be seen from the behind of the mask.
Powers/Abilities: Can control the crystal substance used in his mask, which he named Mithrilium, with his mind. He is also the only person who has figured out how to create it, and keeps it a secret from everybody. Mithrilium is transparent like glass on one side and reflective like crystal on the other, but is just as incredibly strong on both sides. It also can be incredibly sharp when bladed and is known to have strange effects on the human biology.
Strengths/Skills: Skilled fighter, unpredictability. Creative. Can create Mithrilium.
Weaknesses: Arrogant, keeps important things from his allies due to his paranoia, if you want it done right do it yourself mentality (doesn't trust anyone below him).
Backstory: Not much is known about how the Creator reached his place in the criminal underbelly, but he did. Sprouting up out of nowhere, joining gangs, bringing with him his mystery material, eventually taking over. His gradual absorption of criminals into his gang has left more than a few bodies, but he has a special way of covering those up. Now, he can basically bend any criminal in the city to his will, and he continuously plans to bring about his endgame.
Association with other characters: Runs the cities largest gang, and has contact with many supervillians.

@Gpig5 Xeria was holding her broadswords up in the sky using psychokinesis. She put them down on the roof of the skyscraper. Unless Fraser has eyes in the skies, I don't really know how he would've known she put them down.

Gotcha. Just one question. Does your character have to be human? Because I have a character who I use as a superhero, also the one who started the CoDA RP. But he's not human. Is that alright?

Weaknesses :Magic and any type of powers that can negate or reverse the damage her powers can do.

Powers/Abilities: Damian has the power to control darkness and shadows, he can create weapons and armour out of darkness, control people's shadows and make himself invisible (only works at night)
Strength/Skills: Damian's power works best at night but it can still be used effectively at night. Damian is proficient in many martial arts and boxing.
Weaknesses: Damian isn't able to use his power when there isn't any darkness or shadows around, He also can't stand sun light which is why he covers his whole body with heavy clothing.

Name: Ashei Gray (Aka Black Coat)
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Appearance: Ashei wears a black trench coat with an electric blue shirt and black tie to top it off. Ashei stands 6'5" at womping 173 pounds. He is moderately skinny and has decently toned muscles. His eyes are pale blue and he has black hair with electric blue streaks. His hair is styled in a gentle men's haircut and his left cheek is scared and generally has a smile on his face. :) He also has an electric themed sword.
Personality: Ashei is a laid back person. He smiles a lot and is comedian, but there is a dark side to him. He can get angry if you ask for help, SOMETIMES. He loves music and acting, and takes it very seriously. He always wants to add a little extra flare to things. He loves puns.
Powers: Electric Manipulation. Daniel can manipulate and create any form of electricity. If one of his emotions goes into overdrive, he enters Plasma Mode. In Plasma mode, his body is over run with electricity to the point were his body is completely made of Plasma. His whole body is electric blue except for the white of his eyes and his pupil. His legs and arms are not whole, they look like they're missing pieces. His power is greatly increased in this form. His powers are also AMPed up against metal.
Backstory: Ashei grew up In a broken home. His brothers bullied him, his parents were divorced, and his sister has had several different forms of cancer. The only way he could find joy was in the fine arts. He was extremely gifted in school, but often didn't do homework because he was constantly practicing. He didn't focus on his powers until High School, where he learned that he could enter Plasma Mode. He then took up the Vigalnte Identity of Black Coat, an Anti-Hero who does as he desires.
Strengthes: Ashei is a gifted Sword Fighter and Climber.
Weakness: Rubber and He has a fear of Failure, to the point where he wom't try.

There are two separate stories right now, but they're connected in a way

Story #1
  • So, there's this guy named Fraser, he meets this girl named Xeria. As they were talking a mysterious limousine popped out of nowhere, and the guy driving it told Fraser that a man named "Organ" wanted to speak with him. Fraser agrees to go with the mysterious limousine driver, and so does Xeria because....why not(?). They finally arrived to this place (sorry if I get the name wrong) called X Force HQ. Inside Organ tells Fraser about an assassination job, to kill some superhumans, but Fraser disagrees saying that he will only kill those who deserve it. Fraser then comes up with an idea to form a team filled with good superhumans, so they can stop the bad superhumans. Organ doesn't take Fraser seriously, or so it seems. So...yeah.
Story #2
  • A boy named Devin had just gotten out of convenience store, and he had stolen around $500's. Later, we find out the reason he stole the money was so that he could be able to afford some medications for his sister, but what Devin didn't know, his sister, Daisy, was spying on him. The police find out where Devin was at, and chase after him. Devin then hid in the sewers. In a far away lab, two women, Cynthia and Juniper, who are advanced superheroes, heard their crime alert and figured out the situation. They were able to sneak in the sewers and catch Devin by surprise. Cynthia was ruthless with Devin, but Devin, and Daisy, then explained himself, and Juniper felt sympathy for Devin. They decide to make Devin their protegee and now they're a little superhero team.
So..yeah. That's pretty much it, I think.
