I honestly don't care for water types. The only ones I've ever used consistently are Azumarril for singles and Crawdaunt for doubles. I really like Crawdaunt. Adaptability ability, Aqua Jet & Knock Off, and it's more durable than it looks on paper IMO.

I don't care for dragons either, but I do have fond memories of using Kingdra in gen 2. It's typing and solid stats, coupled with dragon, water & ice moves makes it a formidable opponent in gen 2.
