Welcome to Custos, a parallel world where everyone has their own guardian spirits that serve not to defend and protect the humans that they watch over, but are also their companions. These guardian spirits can be quite complex. They can control who can see and/or touch them. All of them, as far as they know, have powers, but some are so mysterious that their powers are not known. All Guardian Spirits have the ability to become invisible and intangible. Guardian Spirits can look like just about anything. This includes all animals (even the extinct ones), Mythical creatures (which includes Yokai), Cryptids, and angels. And not all people and their Guardian Spirits are good. This world can be dangerous. How will you fare?

Appearance: Light brown skin, dark brown eyes, and black hair. Cody wears a dark blue T-Shirt, jeans, black fingerless gloves, and navy blue and black tennis shoes.
Guardian Spirit's Name: Aiden
Type of Guardian Spirit: Komainu
Details about Guardian Spirit's Appearance: Aiden is an average sized albino Komainu Guardian Spirit. He resembles a lion with a dog's tail.

Name: Jake Everett
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Personality: Jake is the kind of guy who doesn't shy away from doing what he considers to be the right thing and due to this he can prove to be on the headstrong side of things. That said he is nice to everybody meets unless they give him a reason to distrust them. The usual reason for this is that he is extremely protective of his little sister and really doesn't like to let new people in too quickly. The boy is not afraid to got to extremes if he needs to and has been pushed into corners that require him to some dark things before.
Physical appearance: Jake isn't tall for his age but he is built with a wiry frame, still tough. He possess a pair of hazel eyes that can give either a piercing gaze or a friendly look depending on the situation. His hair is a dark mess that is often untamed but still manages to suit him pretty well. A few freckles are scattered across his nose and over all he is a pretty good looking guy.
Usual outfit: Dark jeans, whatever shirt he chooses and a navy blue jacket over it all. He normally also dons a pair of black combat boots.
Guardian Spirit's Name: Ronin
Type of Guardian Spirit: Living armour.
Details about Guardian Spirit's Appearance: Literally an empty suit of European plate armour with a claymore and shield to match. The suit is primarily a kind of spectral green/blue colour but has gold trimmings. The sword and shield have the opposite colour scheme, primarily gold but with green/blue markings.

So questions....Is this set in like modern times with no changes to reality? What part of the world is this set in? Is it normal to see this spirits just wandering around the place? I kinda need the world to be a little more fleshed out.

Yes, its modern times. This could be anywhere, though it's probably either where the US and Canada are in our world or on the other side of the world like where Japan is in our world. Everyone's connected in some way or another. Spirit's are commonplace and everyone has them, though they usually end up wandering around after the human they're supposed to protect passes on. Also, you're in.

Alright makes sense...and awesome glad to be aboard. So what's the conflict in this world? the reason all our characters will interact? Run away spirits or some evil doers or?

I quite like the idea of rouge spirits honestly. Getting a little team together to keep them under control and all that. But its up to you of course, your rp and all.

Appearance: Liam is short and kinda thin.He has blue eyes and skin a bit darker.He has a scar on his lip and neck from the encounter with Hog.He usually wears ripped jeans and a black hoodie,but the hood has some rips.He also wears a pair of sneakers that are really nice and clean that's gray.On his cheek is a symbol that similar to a Hodag.
