I sort of play with an all on offensive tactic, but I'd wanna change that. But I'll need help to get it working.

The pokemon I'd like to have some help with (FireRed):

Scizor
Lvl: 60
Nature: Rash
Stats: hp:168 atk:183 def:129 sp. atk: 101 sp.def: 102 speed: 102
Hold item: None
Current moveset:
Steel Wing
Double Team
Swords Dance
Slash

I'd like a more offensive moveset here.

Venusaur
Lvl: 59
Nature: Lonely
Stats: hp: 168 atk: 127 def: 103 sp.atk: 135 sp.def: 143 speed: 121
Hold item: None
Current moveset:
Frenzy plant
Strength
Razor Leaf
Synthesis

What trait does your scizor have? It makes a diffrence in my choice of moves.

Here is my usual Venusaur build that works quite well.

Bold or Calm Natures.
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed
- Energy Ball
- Sludge Bomb

A bulky seeder is always nice. Just remember that Venu isnt particularly fast so be careful with him.

If both Pokemon are from FR, then Energy Ball is thrown out the window.

Anywho, for a 3rd Gen Scizor:

Scizor@Liechi Berry
Adamant Nature
108 HP/252 Atk/148 Def
-Reversal
-Endure
-Agility
-Steel Wing/Swords Dance/HP Ghost

Reversal and Endure with a Steel Typing means win in Sandstorm.
With the HP down, Liechi kicks up your attack.
Make sure you get an Agility in, or else you'll die really quickly.
Steel Wing for another attack, but HP Ghost would be nice so it can hit Ghost-types.
Swords Dance if you're brave enough.

Note that Fire attacks will destroy you in one go.

Thanx for help you two! I'm not sure if Hp Ghost is a 4:th gen move. I've never heard or seen anything about it.
I am aware of Scizor's fire problem, but it is quite a fair trade. All bug weaknesses are eliminated with the steel type, except for fire, and same with steel's weaknesses. Plus steel does have an advantage against many types.
