Chapter 1 - Roots of Despair

Road to Hope's Peak Academy - A Month before the Killing Game.

One month was given to the Mastermind to prepare this (REDACTED). The Mastermind had been talking to someone on the phone, while they were looking outside the window. The voice from the phone had instructed that this this (REDACTED) killing game MUST go perfectly, and that was what the Mastermind was planning on doing from the beginning. Soon after the phone call ended, The car had finally reached the school, and now it was time to set it up. A handbook and pen was in their front pocket, writing things down, in order of importance.

Plus, he needed to make sure he had written everything down so that he wouldn't forget and so he would be able to keep track of what he would do this month to prepare. Especially since they'd have lots of think about during the Killing Game, and mustn't forget that making the students despair was most important.

-Find Participants.
-Fix up the school.
-Prepare things needed for the Killing Game.

The Mastermind went inside the school, mostly to check it out so that they could make changes accordingly to fit the theme they were going for this season. It took them almost an hour to explore the whole school, and it was definitely good for the theme they were going for. It had everything they needed to complete this (REDACTED). They took out their phone again, dialing a number, and then calling it. Whatever the mastermind called, was unknown, though you could hear the voice of the mastermind speaking, about boarding up all the windows and doors using metal sheets, so that it wouldn't be easy to escape. After that, the car that drove the Mastermind to the school, picked them up, as they left the school premises.

The Mastermind's House

The mastermind, now at the comfort of their home, started to change into casual clothing, to be able to relax, even just for a tiny bit. The car that drove them home had already left, and would be coming back next week to pick them back up to check on the progress of the metal sheets that would soon be covering the whole school. The Mastermind went upstairs to their room, a room which resembled the room of where the mastermind was two days prior to the killing game. Their laptop was open, which showed plans for (REDACTED). Soon enough, The mastermind noticed that the clock was soon to hit ten o'clock of night, and quickly shut down his laptop, and went to sleep soon.

Once morning hit, The Mastermind noticed that the mysterious voice had called them again. The conversation went like this:
"Hey there, (REDACTED)!"
"Hello. Good Morning. Is there anything you need..?"
"Oh, no. Actually, I wanted to mention that I (REDACTED)"
"Oh! Cool. Thanks."
And the call soon ended. They went downstairs to cook breakfast, cooking eggs and bacon. Half an hour later, they were finished eating breakfast, and went back to working on their project about the Killing Game. Going back upstairs, he'd noticed that he had gotten an email from the one who orchestrated, and created what they were doing now. It was an email containing fifteen introductions for (REDACTED). They watched each one, taking note of every single one of them. He had found his participants, and was one step closer to creating (REDACTED).

Now, he needed to prepare. Their first motive would be (REDACTED), which shall fill the participants with despair, from that point. The next motives hadn't been planned out yet, though, soon, he thought. He still had a month to finish everything, which, wasn't really a lot of time, but at this point, (REDACTED).
