How is John McCain keeping the presidential race close?

As a black conservative i have been pushing for John McCain to win the elecion, but many polls have shown him behind in a rang of 3-10 point range behind Obama. But what i don't understand is how?He has made many clear errors in his campaign such as his attack ads, his bad timing of town hall meetings and press confrences and mishaps of speech like getting saying the wrong things for the wrong country . And even though he is apart of the party that is so hated in America, the clear liberal media bias of NBC,MSNBC,New York Times, The Washington Post etc. and most importantly, the great his ties to Bush, and the way liberals paint his would-be presidency as "Bush 2: Return of the Bush" and the fact that Obama has a more excited base, and has a 9 to 1 lead in blacks and leads in other minority groups and the fact that Obama has the Youth of america on his side, how is McCain keeping this race close?

My opinion is Mccain's experience.Although many hate how he wants to stay in iraq till he sees the job complete, he was correct that the surge in Iraq would bring violence down and cripple Al Queda. Also the fact that his Military background gives people the confidence he can handle the middle east properlly, such as the Israel-Iran conflict. He may not be good on the economy, but neither is Obama, so this is another factor that keeps the polls in this race close. Also i believe Americans are seeing through the bias on TV and forming their own opnions that are not swayed byt the bias of media. Why do you believe the polls are as close as they are, and do you believe McCain can over take Obama and win the Presideny in what i would call "The greatest upset in American History since the Joe Namath's Jets beat John Unitas Colts in the Super Bowl"

May I refer you to the forum's description for a second?

"Your topic WILL be locked unless you form a proper argument with points both for and against. "

This is hardly a proper argument as I still don't understand just what in the name of the inferno are you trying to debate here, Mister Pein.

It's nice that you're supporting your presidential candidate of choice (Although, I'm amused by your choice of words for it - A 15-year-old 'pushing' for John McCain to win an election? My. I didn't realize you people could vote so early IN AMERICA. Oh right. You can't. Must be some kind of moral support that means just about nothing in the real three-dimensional world.)

Also, as a non-American, I don't give a flying -EFF!- about who wins the upcoming election. Honestly, to me all politicians are the same. But my personal opinion notwithstanding, I still don't see what exactly constitutes as a 'debate' about this. Therefore, this topic is going to get locked because I do believe that this topic is about as redundant as what I would call "The prof I am not a n00b thread by TheK".

Thank you and have a nice day.

I just want to point out how much this post amuses me. You can see they know they NEED punctuation in there... they just haven't got the foggiest notion how the hell it works.

At all.

I'm tempted to re-open this topic and remake it into a debate about just how on earth an education system can fail so hard that it leaves 15 year olds without even the basic knowledge of how the English language works. If anything, this guy is a vote against the Republicans - those past 8 years controlling his schooling has clearly left him broken and useless.
