DPPt/HGSS In-game help (For the Elite 4)

Shiny Motley

2016 Singles Football
Okay, so I'm borrowing my friend's DS for a whole week (if more, if I get lucky), and this is my current in-game team:

Kadabra, Lv. 45
Nature: Jolly and capable of taking hits.
Ability: Synhronize
Moves: Meh, 3 Psychic-moves, so I'm not eveing going to bother posting it here.

Graveler, Lv. 45
Nature: Lonely and somewhat of a clown
Ability: Rock Head
Moves:
Double-Edge
Magnitude
Earthquake
Rock Climb

Floatzel, Lv. 45
Nature: Gentle and strongly defiant
Moves:
Surf
Waterfall
Blizzard
Crunch

Luxray, Lv. 45
Nature: Hasty and quick to flee
Ability: Rivalry
Moves:
Thunder
Spark
Strength
Crunch

Roselia, Lv. 45
Nature: Lonely and highly curious
Ability: Natural Cure
Moves: 3 grass moves, so don't bother posting it.

Infernape, Lv 45
Nature: Adamant and likes to run
Ability: Blaze
Moves:
Fire Blast
Flame Wheel
Close Combat
Rock Smash

So basically my team is, like, really bad. Can someone help me? Like, I know the movesets are pretty bad, but I'm not too sure what moves to put on them. Help?

Let's see about Infernape...

Flare Blitz/Flame Wheel/Blaze Kick/Fire Punch
Close Combat/Brick Break
Stone Edge/Rock Slide
Grass Knot/Shadow Claw/Thunder Punch

An adamant Infernape has no use for special attacks so I didn't put any except Grass Knot. This whole moveset is designed to hit hard. If you want to level up to 57, Flare Blitz for STAB, if not Flame Wheel is the only thing left and it isn't bad; Close Combat or Brick Break works--Close Combat if you want power, Brick Break if you want better PP and no defense lowering; Stone Edge or Rock Slide to cover Flying types; Grass Knot attempts to cover Ground, Rock, and Water types; Shadow Claw can help cover Psychics but you may not want to use the TM on Infernape.

If you don't mind breeding, Fire Punch, Blaze Kick, and Thunder Punch are a few more options for STAB and coverage. But then again that may be getting into competetive battling...

I hope I didn't forget anything and I really hoped this helped :)

Oh yeah here's warning: Cynthia's Pokemon know some surprise moves.

No EVs are needed, In-game, unless you really want them.

Kadabra

-Psychic/Psybeam
-Focus Blast
-Shadow Ball/Energy Ball
-Shock Wave/Charge Beam

Psychic has higher power, but Psybeam has twice as many PP. Take your pick.
Focus Blast for Dark-types.
Shadow Ball for Ghosts.
Last move is a filler.

Graveller

-Double-Edge
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Brick Break

Double-Edge to abuse Rock Head.
Earthquake and Stone Edge are STAB.
Brick Break is a nice Filler.

Floatzel
-Waterfall
-Ice Fang/Ice Beam
-Crunch
-Return/Quick Attack

Waterfall for STAB.
Ice Fang is gotten by the move re-learner. Ice Beam is TM 13.
Last two moves are fillers.

Luxray
-Spark/Thunder Fang
-Crunch
-Return/Strength
-T-Wave/Scary Face

Sprak/Thunder Fang is for STAB.
Crunch and Return/Strength is a filler.
T-Wave/Scary Face is to help it overcome its speed problem.

Roselia
-Magical Leaf/Energy Ball/Giga Drain
-Sludge Bomb
-Shadow Ball/Toxic
-Synthesis

Fisrt two moves are STAB.
Shadow Ball hits Psychics, otherwise, Toxic can cause them problems.
Synthesis can heal any damage you took using Toxic.

Infernape
-Close Combat
-Flare Blitz/Flame Wheel
-U-Turn
-Stone Edge

First two moves are STAB.
Flare Blitz and Flame Wheel is between Recoil and lower power.
U-Turn is to hit Psychics.
Stone Edge is to hit Flying-Types.

Any problems, post again, some of those moves are TMs and some are hard to get.

An idea would be to evolve the graveler and kadabra if you can, that would increase their stats quite a bit and help you alot.

If your able to access Wifi just PM me ill trade with you to evolve them.

PS: Also, I went to see the move deleter once I reached the elite four and got rid of some less usefull HM moves to replace them with others. Oh and to beat the elite4 your gonna need a lvl range of 55-65 about, they scale a lil higher then the other games.

T-Wave/Scary Face is to help it overcome its speed problem.

But my Luxray has a hasty nature. Doesn't that increase its speed? Oh, and I've been kinda considering using Palkia for some reason... It's only in-game, not competetive, so it'll be okay, right?

Well, here's the stuff about Palkia, lv. 48...

Nature: Impish and somewhat of a clown
Ability: Pressure
Moves:
Surf
Spacial Rend
Ancient Power
Dragon Claw

Is it wise to use Palkia, or no?

Since Luxray's Attack is higher than Sp. Atk:
Spark-STAB
Iron Tail-Nice move to have especially against Rock types
Return/Frustration-Depends on If you Luxray Likes you or not
Some filler move here...

Or if you want to take the time and energy to Rebreed:
Luxray
Intimidate(A nice fraction of The E-4 use Physical Attacks)
Adamant Nature
Spark-STAB
Ice Fang-Surprise Attack on Dragons...
Iron Tail- Rock/Ground Types
Howl/Toxic-Filler

Spark preferable over Thunder Fang. More PP and higher Accuracy. Spark's 100 Accuracy compared with Thunder Fang's 95. Same amount of Power.

Don't use Palkia. It has a suckish nature. >>
Sp. Atk rise slowly. All of Palkia's moves but Dragon Claw are Special.

But my Luxray has a hasty nature. Doesn't that increase its speed?

Luxray has a really bad Base Speed. With out EVs, it will cap out at around 199 (Ideal/IV 31 in Speed)
Those two moves can help Luxray overcome its little Speed Problem.

Palkia
-Waterfall
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake/Stone Edge/Avalanche
-Brick Break/Return/Shadow Claw/Strength

First two moves are for STAB. All the other moves are fillers. Quite Nice ones to fill holes in your team.
