I may or may not continue this fan-fic, depending if I get feed-back or not. If i get at least one post of feedback, I shall continue the series. And maybe even if I dont' get response, i may write anyways.

"Today we shall learn about how you shouldn't judge a pokemon by it's appearence." Explained the teacher. It was finally my last day of school. I just turned 13 last month, so my parents are allowing me to join the pokemon league. Though I've never actually seen a pokemon in person, I knew a lot about them. "... and let's also get some appreciation for Dean,, who is starting his way up the league tommorrow!" exclaimed the teacher. Ugh, I hate to be in the spotlight.
"I'm going to warn you that there are a lot of Kadabra and Abra in the surrounding area, so please be careful dean. They are fairly strong...well the Kadabra are anyways." He warned me. "I wonder if they talk to each other like humans do..." I pondered out-loud. "Everyone, Deanie the Weanie is nerding out, take cover!" Yelled one of the many obnoxious kids in the back. I just sighed and took the verbal beating. "Who said that" demanded Mr. Myrtle.
Finally, the day was over. I was now free of the demented things they call 'children' at school. I went to the nearest store to pick up the pokeballs my dad bought me. "Here to pick up the order?" asked the clerkman. "Ya" I practically sighed. I grabbed the pokeballs, then walked home.
"How was school?" My mom asked as I walked through the door. "Do you need to ask?" I simply put. "Hey mister, lose the attitude." she yelled back. I went up stairs and got my clothes and other things ready. Then I simply crashed on my bed, and went to sleep.
When i woke up it was 4 in the morning. I yawned and decided I needed an early start to my trip. I wrote a letter to my Mom and Dad and left out the door,, into thev woods. I then walked a good four miles, then realizing I forgot to go to the lab and get a pokemon. I turned around and saw a set of eyes staring back at me. It was a Abra.
It simply tried to get up and run, but couldn't. "Don't hurt me." Came a voice. "Who's there?" I replied. The Abra gave a little confused grunt. The little abra then started glowing white. "This can't be good!" I panicked to myself. "Can you hear me?" asked the voice again. "Yes." I decided to respond.
"So you can hear me?" asked the voice confused. "I think we had that established." I moaned. "My name is Kadik." Said the voice. "M-My name is Dean... umm... where are you?" I asked curiously. "I'm in front of you." replied the little voice. All that was in front of me was the newly evolved Kadabra. "Pokemon can talk?!?" I yelled. "Humans can hear us!" yelled the Kadabra in reply. 'What kind of strange mutation happened to this pokemon?!?' I thought to myself. "You're the mutant." Chuckled back the Kadabra, whose name I now assumed to be Kadik. " I think you're what we pokemon call a Medius. It means you can hear and talk to pokemon." Said Kadik.
Is there something I didn't know about myself?
