The trip back to Johto was cool but Glacier was going to miss Alola. All of his Pokemon were transferred back to his original home in Blackthorn City. Salamence finally saw the Gym and was eager to get back with his friends. "Lets go faster! We don't want to miss it." Glacier said.

"I'm gonna have to say Violet city." Akio told Teiran, suddenly his Pokégear gave a bzzzt.
"Weird it says Unknown number...who do you think it could be?" He asked Teiran looking at his Pokégear.

Salamence landed in front of Glacier's home and let him off of his back. "All right go out back." He said, satisfied. Salamence flew and landed in the backyard to play with the rest of Glacier's Pokemon. The boy entered the front door and set his down on the couch. He took off his Z-Ring and left it in his room. Zoroark was already there in the house waiting for him. She nudged Glacier with love and leaded him out back. His Pokemon were waiting. Steelix, of course, was the first one to meet him by binding Glacier with his tail.

"I don't know...maybe you shouldn't answer, and if you do, I wouldn't talk..." Teiran said, her heart sinking a bit. This was getting creepy. Totodile hid in Teiran's hood and peeked from behind her shoulder, snuggling in it, getting warm since it was soft and fluffy.

After a couple minutes of reuniting with old friends, Glacier left his house with Croconaw and Cyndaquil. His first Flying type, Pidgeot had to be on his team because he couldn't travel Johto without him. He hopped on his back and had Pidgeot fly to Violet City. He took his Old Johto Pokegear with him as well if he ever got a call from Alder or Nova, who was still in Unova competing.

Akio shook and pressed answer.
"Hello?" He said into the Pokégear quivering.
"Is this Akio." Said a voice he had never, it was a firm Female voice, he didn't know who it was but something about what she sounded like gave him a familiar vibe but he still didn't know until she said.
"It's Lyra, It's been a while since I could talk to my best friend that isn't Pokémon...how are you?" Lyra asked making Akio sweat.
"Teiran, you are my girl friend she is just my friend..." He told her.

A young girl in a black eye mask had just finished returning a stolen purse to a woman in Violet City.

"Thank you my dear." The woman said as the girl gave a salute.

"All in a day's work ma'am." The girl said matter of factly, her partner Larvitar right by her side. The two left and began to explore the city, the girl removing her "disguise" of the mask as the two decided to explore the town.

Pidgeot landed in front of the Pokemon Center and walked toward the gym with Glacier. "Ah, Violet City...good times." He simply said. He saw a girl with a Larvitar and it reminded him of Tyranitar.

"Yeah, I know." Teiran said, knowing Akio was no floosey. It was just a friend, and she could tell, according to the words, "Best friend." "She sounds nice." Teiran said, trying not eavesdrop on the conversation. But her mind got the best of her, and she eavesdropped anyway.

"So Akio hows Cubone?" Lyra asked hearing Teiran.
"Cubone has evolved into Alolan Marowak!" Akio told Lyra and suddenly got interupted.
"Bro, is that girl in the background your significant other?" Lyra asked making Akio blush...
"Yes...." Akio told her,
"...YAY! My best friend has a girlfriend, I'll give you advice on girls mate!" Lyra shouted making Marowak cringe. Akio began blushing a lot and didn't really respond,
"Let me talk to her!" Lyra said as Akio handed to Pokégear to Teiran.

Lily walked and soon saw a pair of trainers, one of which was talking in a Pokegear.

"Well, let's go introduce ourselves. No reason not to be friendly." Lily said as Larvitar nodded before she and Larvitar walked over to Akio and Teiran.

Uxia was sat in the pokemon centre of Violet City, her pachirisu, Sparky, beside her. A showcase in her home region was on TV, and the Nita King, Kemen, was waving to an adoring crowd as he pushed his boyfriend, a top coordinator named Daniel across the stage. They were the hottest celebrity couple for miles around, especially in Nita...

"Say, Sparky," she began, "Do you think I'll ever be like them? A showcase queen, with a famous lover at my side?"

The pachirisu nodded, bouncing about on his tiny toes. "Chi-Pa!"

Glacier wondered where Zinnia was. The last time those two saw each other was in Unova. He hoped to see her in Johto but he doubted that. "Time to beat Falkner." He said, determined as he walked into the gym with his three Pokemon.

Akio blushed so much he has to lie down and stare into Marowak's fire.
"Oh hi! You sound so cute." Lyra told Teiran smiling. "I just wanted to ask how long you'd been with him since he went to Alola I lost contact with him! So yeah how long have you been together and where did you meet?" She asked Teiran speaking enthusiastically.

"Oh, um, thanks." Teiran said, blushing at the compliment. She blushed even more when Lyra asked how long they've been together. I don't know...a couple weeks?" Teiran said, her face going red as she blushed even harder.

The gym was just like he remembered. Falkner was awaiting him at the end of the path. "Welcome, son of Alder. We have a battle to get with." He proclaimed. He sent out his first Pokemon, Noctowl. "Croconaw! Lets go!" Glacier shouted. Croconaw was eager to battle her long time opponent.

"That's quite a bit! How did you meet~?" She asked.
"Have you guys kissed or anything like that~?" She asked while it sounding like she was tapping the Pokégear.

"Ice Punch!" Glacier shouted. Croconaw had her fist turn into solid ice and punched Noctowl, causing it to be heavily damaged and frozen. "Noctowl!" Falkner shouted. "Finish it! Hydro Pump!" Glacier commanded. Croconaw released huge amounts of water at Noctowl, causing it to faint. Falkner returned Noctowl as Glacier returned Croconaw. The real battle was just beginning.

"A boat to Akala. And yeah...we kissed a couple times..." She said, her face so red it it was dark. What embarrassing questions. They were personal too. But Lyra was Akio's friend, and she could be trusted. Teiran trusted her.

"Would you sneak out of your home at night to meet him?" He asked in a sad tone looking at her Azurmarill.

"Pidgeot! Out now!" Falkner proclaimed. The large bird Pokemon exited the Pokeball and landed in front of Falkner. "Cyndaquil...Lets go!" Glacier shouted. Cyndaquil, the newest member of the team, was out on the battlefield, fire burning on its back.

"Um...only if we lived closer..." Laura said, as she listened to how sad she sounded. Then Laura heard a small rig from her own Pokegear. She opened up her pocket, took it out, and looked at the notification she received. A showcase was soon. "Look at this, Akio." Teiran said, as she showed him about the showcase. She really wanted to make it.

Lily decided to skip formalities and went up to Akio and Teiran.

"Hey there, name's Emily. But you can call me Lily. Nice to meet you." Lily said with bow, Larvitar having done the same next to her.

Akio looked determined to help Teiran,
"Hi you can come with us but were in a hurry!" Akio told Lily. He took Teiran's hand and ran towards the showcase center running past the girl that was looking at them. He took back his Pokégear kissed her and sat down as Marowak caught up.
"Lyra, why are you so sad?" He asked
"Azurmarril keeps sneaking out at night while looking like he's trying to impress a girl, it's getting out of hand and he won't talk to me..." Lyra told him. Akio remembered the innocent Marril and how it would feel to let go.

"Pidgeot! Use Peck!" Falkner shouted. Pidgeot flew down toward Cyndaquil. "Ember!" Glacier commanded. Cyndaquil released flames from his mouth at the bird. Both attacks hit directly and caused serious damage. "Cyndaquil! Swift!" He shouted. Cyndaquil released giant stars at Pidgeot repeatedly, causing damage. "Pidgeot! Gust!" Falkner commanded. Pidgeot released strong winds from her wings and knocked Cyndaquil back into the wall. "Cyndaquil!" Glacier shouted, worried. Did I push Cyndaquil too hard? He thought insecurely.

"Hi! I'm Ter-AAAIIINN!" Teiran said, before being pulled along by Akio. "We'll be at the showcase hall! Sorry!" Teiran shouted, as she quickly dashed behind Akio to keep up. Totodile bounced from his sleeping position when they started running, and held onto Teiran's hood. When she arrived, Teiran was kissed by Akio, called her thanks, and went to check in. "Oh, I didn't expect to see anyone so early." the lady at the desk said, smiling. "Sorry, my boyfriend freaked out and dragged me here right away. I'd like to sign in as Teiran." Teiran said, as the lady gave her a weird look. "Okay...you can head to the changing room." she said, looking away from the girl. Teiran nodded her thanks and walked into the changing room. She looked at all the clothes, and decided to choose what she was about to wear. Before she did, she released Sentret from her Pokeball. "Okay, guys, here's the thing..." Teiran said to her Pokemon. Then she explained everything about showcases, and how she'd call out the moves, and such. They got it with a nod of their heads, and Teiran asked them to help her out.

Meanwhile, Uxia had already headed to the showcase hall, and was putting the finishing touches on her outfit. Today's first round involved making mochi, one of the many varieties of wagashi native to the Johto region. Uxia had never worked Japanese ingredients before, but she was sure that she could figure it out.

The performer decided that she'd leave her gloves off, for now, lest she get them dirty, and walkedvout on stage

Lily saw the pair run off and shook her head, an amused grin on her face.

"I don't know what is is, but I already like them." Lily said to Larvitar, who nodded in agreement. Lily then thought over the girl's name as she held a hand to her chin.

Teiran. Why does that name sound familiar? I pester Captain Duke constantly over his travels, maybe I got it from one of those discussions. Who knows...

Lily shook those thoughts away as she would go towards the Showcase Hall, Larvitar right by her side.

Cyndaquil fell down from the wall. He walked weakly in front of Glacier. "Cyndaquil...you still want to continue?" He asked. Cyndaquil looked back, nodded and started glowing. His whole body stretched out and his flame became bigger. Cyndaquil had evolved into a Quilava, and a strong one at that. Glacier checked his Pokedex entry about Quilava. He chuckled sslightly and had Quilava in battle position. "Flame Wheel!" Glacier commanded. Quilava rolled into a ball of flames and launched himself at Pidgeot, knocking it back and out.

Teiran walked out from the closet. "Is this good?" she asked her Pokemon, as she walked out.

She was wearing a dark blue sparkly dress, with silky clear drapes hanging next to her legs. It was like a sparkly blue leotard, and the bottom of a dress, clear, though. Her hair was still in a Ponytail. Her Pokemon applauded, liking her style.

(I'll be at the new despicable me movie)

Akio walked into the contest hall and went to sit down and watch her performance Marowak remembered marril and smiled.
"You're gonna miss your friend being a Marril aren't ya bud?" Akio asked Marowak. Marowak nodded.

The match had ended with Glacier being the victor. He had received the Badge from Falkner. What Glacier was most happy about was Cyndaquil evolving into Quilava. All three of his Pokemon walked out of the gym and saw that there was a Showcase. "Seems interesting..." He said simply. He recalled Pidgeot and found a seat in the audience.

Uxia, meanwhile, had donned a white dress, with frilly sleeves, and a long, romantic era skirt. She'd pulled her hair back, put a solomon's seal headdress in it, and she wore pointe shoes. A lover of dance, especially ballet, Uxia liked to try and incorporate her ballet prowess into her performances. Today, she was using her pokemon to perform a piece inspired by one of her favourite ballets, Giselle...If she could make it to the performance round.

Uxia stepped out on stage with Sparky, her pachirisu, and Fluff, her furret. The sight of the unfamiliar ingredients intimidated her.
