MagnusXL's House of Awesome (Taking requests)

M

MagnusXL

I find that the only way I get around to drawing is when people are waiting around on my work which, though it doesn't take me long to do, doesn't always get scanned in a timely fashion. Luckily, I have daily access to a scanner now, so this would be the perfect time to hone my skills. Most of the time I draw Original Character humans/humanoids (as seen here and in this group picture here), but I have done other things.

I've done Undine from the Seiken Densetsu(Legend of Mana) series. I've even done Captain Freaking Planet. The only Pokemon I've drawn was a quick, three minute sketch of Bellossom and six humanized versions for the Pokedex project (which have yet to be scanned).

Anyways, I'm taking all requests, so long as they aren't creepy and are PG 13. It doesn't matter WHAT they are; Pokemon would help me with basic shapes and exaggerated expressions, while humanoids would help me with body structure and pose. This offer lasts until further mentioned, when I move AGAIN into my actual house. So... mid to late august?

:D

Good start, I guess.

What you might want to work on is antomy. Get some books, read aout it. they really help. I'm serious D<

And also, unless you consider it your style, try to make your lines less sketchy. Clean up your artwork (an eraser and a pencil is all you need).

Other than that, great job!

Hmmm. It couldn't hurt to look more into muscle structure and all that.

I dunno if the sketchiness is caused by the scanner or my unwillingness to erase, but I'll keep an eye on that.

Thanks for the suggestions. ^^

You're welcome.

If that's your scanner, though, and even youself, you can use photo editing programs (I use the free one that came with my computer), to increase contrast/lighten picture/gamma the picture. It will make it look better without expensive programs >>

Thanks. I'll give that a try with my next sketch and post the differences.
