My very first splice.

Ever since I came to Pokecharms, I have been hanging out in the Doctor's Clinic and the Video Game Chat threads. However, I have always been messing around with paint. Starting with recolors, I decided to try and extend my reach to splicing trainers and giving them new clothing and recoloring that clothing to match. I went a little easy on myself and based this trainer around a Bellossom, one of my favorite Pokemon. What do you all think?

-Entertainer / Singer

I don't remember all the trainers I used on her. x_x But it was a lot. And I had to draw the legs based on Mars' suit and the Psychic Male and Female feet.

EDIT:
I'm not super talented, but does anyone have any suggestions on drawing mugshots?
Could someone draw me a mugshot of Genna?
I'm not sure, again, if it's all right to request for myself in a sprite/splice thread I made.

Nope, it's perfectly fine. Glad you read the rules. I thought I could just read the overview, but obviously, I was wrong, lol.

That is really good, for a first sprite. It's a good thing you practiced recolors and not posted them here, and I can tell that you've made a very big improvement, since splicing is sort of far off from recolors.
Great job, can't wait to see more.

I'll probably work on more tomorrow, after school. It was quite time-consuming, but also really fun. (:

I sometimes doodle some imaginary Pokemon, though, despite their complete symmetry. I shade them when I color them, though. xD I don't think I have them saved on my computer. However, I'll try to give an update tomorrow. All this positive feedback might be bad for my ego. xP What ever little ego there is.

I'll admit, though I've said before, that I'm used to doodling in paint. So the little one- or two-pixel repairs (adding length to arms, etc.) were no problem. (:

Mugshots...
You can find them at the spriters-resource, but really all you have to do is the upper body and the hair.
I suggest using blander, softer colors for the mugs, that's the way the are in the game.
It's okay to request in your own thread, but you'd be better off going to someone else's threads to request. I take them, but My request list is currently full at the moment.
