Once the two kunai made it over to the other building, Kiro popped out of one and immediately began to run across the roof. Of course he grabbed the other kunai before he did so. As he ran, Kiro could feel the wind trying to push him backwards. “That’s an actual tornado... is she trying to kill me?! What the f-“ A stray piece of debris would’ve smacked Kiro right in the face had he not prematurely jumped across to the next building.

Due to the early jump, Kiro didn’t have a pretty landing. In fact, he didn’t land at all. It was only his two hands that had kept him from breaking his neck on the pavement beneath. He held on to the side of the building and turned his head to see behind him. The building Kiro was just on became engulfed in flames. There was no way else to describe it. In a moment, he too would probably be torn to shreds by the monstrosity Sagisō and him had given birth too.

“Damn, I really messed up. How else am I supposed to stop this?” By ‘how else’, Kiro believed he already had a way to stop the Firenado. If his theory was correct, than the solution he had would be adequate. Unfortunately, Kiro didn’t feel like expending all that energy yet. No, it would be a disappointing display of power. A waste. She wanted him to play his cards early. Which meant Sagisō knew Kiro knew that he could stop it.

Still though, Kiro didn’t expect Sagisō to be capable of endangering members of her own clan. Weren’t clan members like family or something? If that were the case, Sagisō was pretty ruthless. Considering she hadn’t bothered to stop the tornado meant she didn’t care what was happening. The panicked faces on the Hyūga men, women, and children that were trying to escape the vicinity was proof of this. Did Sagisō not care? It was rare to find an opponent who shared a similar mindset as him. Just thinking about that possibility was enough to keep the Uchiha motivated.

Unfortunately, his duel with Sagisō might have to take a backseat. If only he had a capable way of inputting lightning immediately without expending much chakra. Then he’d be able to use higher level ninjutsu without worrying about chakra usage. Another thing was the lightning created from his own chakra paled in comparison to its natural counterpart. However, it wasn’t like he could use pure, natural lightning at the moment. Controlling such raw energy in the way Kiro imagined required skill beyond that of a jonin. No, perhaps that was Kage level. This meant Kiro was more or less stuck with his pitiful signature technique.

A sense of disappointment overcame the Uchiha for a brief moment as he realized he would have to forfeit so early. That was the cost of his lightning armor. However, just as he managed to stand up on the roof, a sudden realization struck him. What started out as a snicker turned into a light chuckle. He found his failure to be a joke. One of the biggest flaws of his technique was that it took too much time and focus to charge up. With the Firenado being nearby, he had neither going for him. Upon coming to an understanding, Kiro began to sprint away from the Firenado. If Sagisō made it out alive and wanted to finish their match, Kiro would gladly continue as soon as he was safe.
