I promise, my writing skills are better than what they were a few months ago.
If anyone's up for it, I'm making a book about swords. Those are cool, right? That being said, these are mega-levels of crude plots. I'm working on it.

If anyone's up for it, I'm making a book about swords. Those are cool, right? That being said, these are mega-levels of crude plots. I'm working on it.
Anyways, the plot:
It's not-as-modern earth, with a fantasy twist. That being said, there are no fairies or trolls, but more dragons and weird-looking monsters. Swords and bladed weapons are the cool thing right now, mostly because a few special people *cough* us *cough* have special skills called Arts. Different Swords hold different arts, but the list is as follows:
The Wind Style is a quicker, one blade style that can be used with the Scythe
The Fire Style Is a more blunt, heavy style that can be used with any amount of blades, but only bySasuke Flame-Bladed Sword (look it up it's kinda cool.)
The Water Style is a rather heavy, but accurate two-blade style that can be used with Scimitars
The Earth Style is a heavy, ranged one blade style that can be used by the father of all anime swords, the Nandao
The Shadow Style is the speediest (aside from it's counterpart) Art it's relaxed and has one sword that can only be used with a Khopesh
The Light Style is an accurate style that has one blade, the Claymore It's speed matches with Shadow Style.
The Dragon Style Is a harsh, destructive, and moderately quick style that can be used with one blade, the Katana
The Electric Style Is a more aimless, very ranged style that can be used with two Kris blades
The Metal Style Is an overtaking, but point-on accurate Art. It is heavy and sluggish at first, and can be used with one Kukri blade.
And finally, the Ice Style Is an accurate, deadly, and quick style that can be used with one or two blades, but the only sword compatible with it is the Falcata
So there you have it, but back to the plot:
It's kinda like Seven Deadly Sins I guess. (In a way?) It was a band of swordsmen(?) that weren't really a band. They constantly fought, until they died. The Arts were silently making their way through each generation after that, picking and choosing the lucky children who never used the Arts because swords were kinda lame after those incidents.
That changed after swords got cool again. nine (I can count, by the way. The ninth is my character. Make your own.) people who descended form those nine generations discovered it after (most of them) nearly killed/killed someone or something (save the rocks) during their first swing with a sword.
Of course, the years passed, and here we are now, rouge descendants of the first nine, looking to master their Arts. They will (Hopefully) band together (at least for a little while) to help each other ward off attacks from monsters.
This plot is still under heavy development, but nothing said before this line shall change.

Name: Jacob Brians "Kenshi"
Age: 17
Appearance: Short brown hair that's swept to the left, blue eyes, and a rather pale skin tone. He has a light muscular tone. He usually wears a white collared jacket that has a singular stripe of black on the top of the collar, he tends to leave it unzipped, and under he wears a light gray t-shirt. He wears beige cargo shorts and white/black sneakers. He has a singular scar that runs from his shoulder blade to the middle of his forearm (The scar from his first use of a sword.) but he lets most of it show, since he keeps his jacket sleeves rolled up. He occasionally wears a silver watch.
Style: Light Style
Place of Origin(Optional): Manhattan, New York
Personality: Somewhat bold, but will run away if he knows that he doesn't stand a chance. He usually refuses to back down from a fight, but won't intercept a fight that isn't his. He's overall pretty average, other than his habit to examine things closely before jumping at it with a sword.
Class: Middle-upper class
Skills:
Central Park Impact: He can only use this if he has enough leverage, but it's a move where he jumps and slams his sword into the ground in a flash of light, blinding and burning enemies.
Light Hurricane: He spins his sword above his head, creating a large vortex of light which he controls to an extent. The closer he comes to mastering it, the more he can control it.
Ten Saints: User slashes five times at the ground, and then launches themselves at the marking, rolling with their blade facing outward during that time. When (if) it reaches five spins before impact with the markings, the user summons a large storm of light and scorching heat with it.
Role: The Main character.
