Pokecharms TrainerCard Application

S

SF

This seems pretty random, but I thought it was a curious thought to share as maybe I'm not the only one who has had this thought.

I'm sure most people use a social networking site as it appears to be the "in" thing nowadays, so if anyone uses the site Facebook then they'll understand what I'm getting at here.

Facebook lacks (within a reasonable realm of searching) any kind of Application that allows for the posting of single images, or in the case of preference here, Forum Signatures. And I guess my logic here is that, as I consider a Forum Signature to be representative of me like my profile page on a website like Facebook is, then I like to include neat things like that.

In short, are there any people around here who possess significant coding knowledge to create some kind of Pokemon-related Application for Facebook? I'm not a developer personally or else I'd do it myself, and my knowledge of scripting is limited to things unrelated to the internet.

At the very least I think it'd be an easy shot for someone to make a quick Application that would allow for the sharing of one's Pokecharms-generated Trainer Card. But then, I'm not entirely sure how difficult it is to make an application. Judging by the sheer number of them, I'd assume that most basic-level web developers would have an easy job at it.

Beyond that, if my inquiry here is unnecessary because someone may know of a single-image-posting application for Facebook that I may have missed, then feel free to point me in that direction, I'd appreciate it.

I guess that, in conclusion, my aim is to be able to have a space on my Facebook page to show my Pokemon-related information (e.g. Trainer Card) so that others may easily access information like my Friend Code for battling and trading etc are concerned. But then I guess I should just be a bit more active in the forums online for that, as it does seem to be pretty active.

Thanks for your time reading/considering this! I apologize for the length.

Someone has approached Alex about this before, and I think he was quite interested.

The way I see it working is just having a version of the current code running inside a frame of a Facebook application which would then post your trainer card on the facebook page. There are loads of other applicatons that just show a single image too.

Doctor Oak is away for a few days, but when he gets back Ill make sure he sees this. Maybe leave us an email address to contact?
