On this page we'll be detailing everything to do with the new Pokémon storage system being introduced in generation VI, Pokémon Bank.
Poké Transporter[/header] Poké Transporter is an add-on for Pokémon Bank which allows us to transfer our Pokémon from Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 up to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. As always with transporting Pokémon from a past generation to new, once your Pokémon have been sent to Pokémon X and Y you won't be able to send them back to your fifth generation games.
General Information
Pokémon Bank is two things; it's a massive storage system for players with the ability to store up to 3,000 Pokémon, and it's also how we'll be transferring Pokémon from the fifth generation games to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.Storage Information
As stated above Pokémon Bank will give you the ability to store up to 3,000 Pokémon across 100 boxes (like those you'd find in-game), but it's also an easier way of trading between games. In the past if you'd wanted to trade Pokémon between two copies of your own games, then you'd need two consoles or a friend willing to lend a hand, and you'd have to trade the Pokémon across one at a time. However, Pokémon Bank fixes this issue as the service will work with as many copies of Pokémon X and Y as you like, including copies downloaded to your 3DS system. You'll be able to search for, move around, and generally organise your Pokémon very well with Pokémon Bank.Poké Transporter[/header] Poké Transporter is an add-on for Pokémon Bank which allows us to transfer our Pokémon from Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 up to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Annual Charge
Because Pokémon Bank is a service that will be on-going and work with future Pokémon titles, players will have to pay an annual fee to use the service which goes towards the general up-keep of the service. The cost hasn't been confirmed outside of Japan so far, but in Japan players will have pay 500 Yen which works out at roughly £5. When the service first launches in December there will be a short free trial period so players can judge if it's worth using or not.Screenshots
