Alpha Pokemon. Creatures imbued with some power that allows them to grow far larger and far stronger than others of their species. The subjects of stories and legends which stand the centuries and give us a glimpse at the answers to the greater mysteries of our universe.
This is not one of those stories. You are an ordinary citizen of an ordinary village, where none have ever heard of Hisui or Almighty Sinnoh. Your people have farmed the land for generations - a wet and grassy region covered in rivers and hills - and recently they have been threatened by a beast, an Alpha Sandaconda, which has been ravaging farms and escaping in a storm of dust when approached. Being one of the only ones in your village with partner Pokemon, you have set out to confront the creature in the cave you've tracked it to, not knowing that other representatives of other villages have set out with the exact same goal.

Backstory: The unofficial guardian of her village, she makes it her job to make sure that no wild Pokemon end up harming citizens. She ventures outside the village fairly regularly, collecting the medicinal herbs needed to create both Potions and human medicines, but doesn't have much experience with her family's business of actually making said medicines.

This RP is intended to be short, with a clear challenge to overcome. Each trainer may have one or two Pokemon, with no limitations besides what the Pokecharms rules state. Most items are difficult to make and so you won't have much, but your village will have provided you with a number of Pokeballs, Potions, and miscellaneous camping/cooking equipment. Your characters may have previous knowledge of eachother, given mutual agreement, or they can be complete strangers.
