• A reminder: If you want to ask an RP thread creator if you can join their RP, do so in private - via conversation or profile messages - or via the thread's discussion thread, if one exists. Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

This is clearly stated in our RP forum rules. If you've not read them yet, do so BEFORE posting anything in the RP forums. They may be found here (for Pokémon Role Play) or here (for General Role Play). Remember that the Global Rules of Pokécharms also apply in addition to these rule sets.

Private/Closed Pokemon Platinum: The Retold Story

Sinnoh is a beautiful region, with a large variety of Pokemon. It has a rich history and like multiple other regions, has a Pokemon League and even a Grand Festival, that attracts coordinators from around the world. But now, a group of trainers from the Sinnoh Region, in Twinleaf Town, will begin their journey.

James Chapman, or as he went by to all the neighborhood kids, Jimmy woke up early one morning. zit was a breezy Saturday, and it was a nice day. Later his friends from the town would wake up, and begin to play and explore, like most weekends. He got dressed and walked down the stairs to the kitchen, where he poured himself a steaming cup of tea, and opened a book, beginning his normal routine of an early morning read, with tea.

Olive woke up first thing in the morning. She got dressed, brushed her hair, and ran down the stairs, skipping two steps with each giant stride. Olive slid on the kitchen floor with her white socks and grabbed the cereal box and bowl from the counter. She sat at the small, round table and poured herself some cereal, hoping she'd meet a great pokemon that day. After all, it was a Saturday. Olive couldn't wait to finally go on her own journey, but until then, she'd only see the pokemon that live in Route 201, Lake Verity, and her mother's Pachirisu. She munched on her cereal as she looked out the window. It seemed like a nice day. She could tell there was a slight breeze from the way tree branches were swaying, and it didn't look too sunny. In fact, it was the perfect day to meet some pokemon.

It was another day in Twinleaf Town for any regular townsfolk, but not for a young girl. Today was a special day for Scarlet Andrews, for it is the day she will finally start on her Pokemon journey that she has been waiting such a long time for. Her goal during this journey is to become a Pokemon Coordinator and make it to the Grand Festival. She headed down to the first floor, as her bedroom was on the second floor, and began to eat breakfast. She brewed her creamed ice coffee and ate her french toast. Scarlet was up pretty early. With all this extra time, she decided to turn on the television and watched her regular channel: Sinnoh Now. Most of the stuff really didn't interest her, but if a coordinator popped up, she's got her full attention. Parents were out at work early everyday, so she's currently living that solo life every morning. Scarlet popped open a book to read. The television is just a source of background noise for her, as she didn't like it to be too quiet at home. Thus, her daily routine continues until it's time to go start her journey.

In the early morning, an alarm then was sounded from a small room in a two-story household. A young, shaggy haired boy then rolled out of his bed and hit the ground with a loud thud. Irritated by the repetitive beeping, the boy stood to his feet and smashed multiple buttons until he silenced the clock.

Kenzin dragged himself to the bathroom, where in the mirror he witnessed the monsterous poof of blonde morning hair that almost covered his line of vision. He brushed his teeth and hair, got dressed, and continuing his morning routine, he tied his "lucky" black bandana around his forehead - as today was a very important occasion. This was the day that Ken would actually receive his very own Pokemon, something he'd been dreaming about since he could remember. Getting his Pokemon meant that Ken could actually become an official Coordinator, and work his way up until the Grand Festival. Something about the mixture of power and dazzling moves had caught his attention through the recent years - and he had decided that making a name for himself amidst the best of them would be his goal.

Placing his Poketech around his wrist, Ken made his way downstairs, where he quickly got started diving in on a bowl of cereal.
