Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

July 1st, Hearthome city

Following a few hours of travel time, Joan had finally made it to her destination, Heathome city. The city in question was entirely different from the rural lifestyle she was used to. Instead of a dense forest filled with large populations of wild Pokémon and lush greenery, there were paved roads, tall buildings and people populating the streets as far as the eye can see. This was her first time venturing this far from home since, despite being born and raised inside the Sinnoh region, most of her life was spent in an enclosed environment. The girl was out of her element, but you wouldn't be able to tell from her expressionless face. "Well here we are, so this is what a big city is like." Joan commented as she looked around, Snover and Cutiefly were outside their pokeballs following close behind their trainer.

Joan continued to wander the streets of the city for some more time, taking in the new scenery before she eventually made her way to the building she assumed was the Pokemon Center. "Hmm, I wonder if the inside of a Pokemon Center in a big city is any different compared to those located in smaller towns." With that in mind, Joan entered the building.
