Somewhat pre-emptive as I doubt many (if any) of you reading this thread have played Pokken yet, but since we've had a fairly good time to examine the roster and see what is on offer, I'm sure many of you have had time to think about which Pokemon you'd like to try out first. Of course if this topic remains active long enough, the title will become a lot more relevant once people actually start playing.

As for myself, almost all of the characters have interested me to some degree - I can't think of one I don't really like - but since Raichu has done so well for me throughout 2015 the two Pikachu characters seem like a good place to start. Pikachu Libre in particular appeals to me as a wrestling fan, especially since it actually uses well-known pro wrestling moves in its moveset such as the Stone Cold Stunner and German Suplex.

Well, Sceptile looks pretty awesome. I haven't seen all the playable Pokemon videos yet but Sceptile looks like it has good reach, which I like. I'm also very interested in seeing how Suicune feels, being a quadruped. Also Chandelure, having no legs at all. I just hope they all "feel" good; I seem to end up on a steep learning curve when it comes to fighting games. The Smash Bros. games are the only ones that I'm consistently good at.

I'm still a bit miffed that instead of Hawlucha we got another fucking unnecessary Pikachu tbh.

Personally I'd have probably gone for Sceptile had I tried to play this game at all.
