• A reminder: If you want to ask an RP thread creator if you can join their RP, do so in private - via conversation or profile messages - or via the thread's discussion thread, if one exists. Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

This is clearly stated in our RP forum rules. If you've not read them yet, do so BEFORE posting anything in the RP forums. They may be found here (for Pokémon Role Play) or here (for General Role Play). Remember that the Global Rules of Pokécharms also apply in addition to these rule sets.
  • Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.

It was a stormy day in the region of Kanto, a laboratory sitting in the farthest north of the region as new technology was being developed. The scientists toiled over a pile of wires and parts as they assembled a machine, a machine to teleport things all over the world, to break the bounds of science. They had an Abra sitting on a table, once the subject of a few harmless tests, now it was just the labs pet.

They finally stepped back, the machine finished. They opened the window, pointing the machine at a nearby bolder, and firing the laser like mechanism. The bolder shock, before exploding with great force, rocks shooting strait up into the air with awe inspiring speed. The scientists quickly went back to work, trying to see what went wrong…….

Eli was walking down the streets of Alola, whistling a tuneless song, finally coming home. He had been away from home far too long, he smiled as he kicked a rock off the path.

Eli suddenly stopped in his tracks as he heard something, the whistling of a fast moving object. He looked around, finally turning to see a shard of rock hurtling at him. In a panic, he tried to dive out of the way. To what would be his embarrassment if he wasn’t in such danger, he jumped into the rock. The charges rock flashed with a purple energy, sparking as it, and Eli, flashed out of existence.

Eli woke up in a cave, gasping as he looked around, checking his body for any major harm to his being. After making sure he was fine, he scrambled to his feet, moving to the mouth of the cave to look out on the outside, observing a forest of birch trees.

Coretta was walking home from an errand her mom tasked her to do while April skipped around, being hyper as usual. She shuffled through her pocket, looking for a berry to calm the rabbit Pokémon. Before she could retrieve a berry, she heard a whistling noise. Most likely a boiling teapot, or an annoying Chimecho.

She then saw the 'thing' hurdling in her direction, as it appeared to be a giant rock. Not even a Rhyperior could throw a boulder that far and fast. It was racing towards her, and with nothing for protection, she braced for impact, returning April, Chad already in a Pokéball. After an epilepsy-inducing flash of purple, it was pitch black after the effect. Though for a bystander, she flashed out of existence, along with the strange rock.

Coretta woke up on a pile of leaves in a bright part of a forest, exhausted. She shuffled to her feet, ensuring her Pokémon were alright by sending them out. By then, April saw a stranger at the mouth of the forest. As a curious Pokémon, April slowly approached the man, about a few years older than her trainer, but not before tripping on a fallen branch with a sudden crack that startled the serene silence.

Merlin was hiking up the mountain trail, hiking staff in hand, his Pokemon safely stashed away in their PokeBalls. It was in the early morning hours, and his Pokemon were still tired, so he walked alone, hoping to catch a glimpse of the sunrise. As he trudged along, watching every step he took, he couldn't help but notice a high-pitched sound that got steadily louder, almost like it was getting closer. The second he turned his head, he only caught a glimpse of the glowing projectile just before it hit him. In a flash of purple light, he was gone.
When next he awoke, Merlin felt unusually cold. Looking around in a daze, he found himself surrounded by snow. "What the heck?" He groaned as he slowly got to his feet, snow crunching with every move. Looking around, he noted that the ground wasn't completely covered, but there was still a small problem. "Where am I?"
