Based on how she acts on Chat though, I half-expected Lysis to be a Lady of Victorian and generally old-fashioned refined tastes. But again, I digress...

This picture just screams 'Semmy awesomeness!' I really like the way the hair moves in this piece. The forearms are also well drawn, not looking like marshmallows or sticks, like mine.
I bet it's the who 'kick-rear wind-with-no-wind' hair movement thing often found in awesome art making the hair move.
You know, you're right, the gun does look a little blocky, but it could pass as a Taser. Who doesn't like shocking people?

It's good, certainly room for improvement when it comes to arms and hands, but they suck to draw anyway. You could try getting some reference material when it comes to drawing guns, though that could get 'iffy' depending on local laws (I don't mean real gun, but things like replicas can be useful especially for certain perspectives, plus you get more toys to play with).
That aside, LOVE the attitude in this piece. Keep it up.

Awesome, Sem! That's a great picture, both visually and technically. I'm loving the pose, it just screams attitude and her hair is amazing. I wish mine flowed like that XD

It's just how I pictured her while reading you fic! Both anatomically and personality-y. I don't care what you say Sem, it's better than what I produce therefore it is win.
