I see a Mecha Fairy D:<
Alisa has to be one of the strangest additions to the roster, with her ability to Jet around, I imagine she is also fairly annoying to deal with.
So, Tekken. I actually first got into the series at 3, but fell out of it when I found 4's roster to be rather disappointing. (Except maybe for Christie, but that's just me being a guy xP) Fortunately, playing 2 and later Tag tournament at the arcade kept my interests, and then Tekken 5 came out and it was gorgeous.
Anyway, while this thread talks about anything Tekken, how about we start off by discussing the 6 expansion, Bloodline Rebellion. Essentially, its 6 with more arenas, more customizations for the characters, and of course, the addition of two new characters, Alisa Boskonovitch, an apparent relative, possibly even daughter to Dr. B; Yoshimitsu's best friend. She's fitted with cyborg enhancements and seems to borrow moves from a lot of the girls (I think I saw a couple of Zafina-style slinking there and Lili-style slaps and punches) incorporating some of Dr B's own.
Then there's Lars Alexanderson, who quite possibly has the second strangest costume in the series ever. (Some sort of strange, Knight-esque armor complete with flowing Dracula cape) Sources say he's Heihachi's other kid (as if the family isn't screwed up already) and while he shares the Mishima's deadly brute force, he also has the apparent ability to dash across the screen in sudden bursts of speed, juggling his opponent like he's playing volleyball with himself.
Besides these two, there are apparently even more items to customize characters with. Raven's Shuriken looks sick, while Xiaoyu's Magical girl wand is quite amusing, especially when she hits King with it xD. And oh yeah, Lili can summon rabid prairie dogs or some other sort of burrowing rodent. We also can now apparently mess around with our character's hairstyles, making them even more unique to the point that it somewhat resembles Soul Calibur's Create-a-Fighter. (still can't mess around with the body structure or gender though.)
So, yeah, its an expansion, and as one, I think it certainly does the trick, as far as Fighting game expansions go anyway. Not that Tekken 6 wasn't already awesome without it. But I suppose it is a more welcome edition for those obesessed with the game's online feature, or with the arcade version's data card feature.
And for all those using the data card feature of 6, you can apparently transfer the data by simply reloading using the Bloodline rebellion card instead of a regular 6 card.
