Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

“Well, I suppose I owe her my thanks then,” Delilah responded to Floyd with a genuine smile. “Finding you was on my to-do list. Now we just gotta find Alex and Aidinia.” She laughed softly, “Alex looked like he took a pretty hard tumble out of the sky at the beginning of all this, so we were all on our way to find him first. It’d be great to have all of you with us if you don’t have missions of your own.”

The bee trainer was taken aback by Amara’s interjection. While it’d certainly surprised her, Delilah had heard doubt amongst others before about her self-proclaimed fame.

“That’s an easy question! See, ever since I was a kid I knew that I wasn’t brought into this world just to ‘survive’ in it as the others do. I was born to be the most talented pokemon master in all the regions combined! I call myself great because...well...that’s what I am. I might not have any gym badges on me, or any trophies on my shelf, or pictures of me in the newspaper…”

Delilah got sidetracked, listing off her lack of achievements over the course of her time as a trainer.

“...or responses after submitting tournament applications (aside from this one), or money from anywhere besides my aunt and uncle, or friends. Well, I actually have friends now, I think. It might be because you literally can’t travel alone in the forest without somebody, though.” Delilah shot a glance over to Damian once more. For a brief moment, she wondered if that was why he’d accepted Delilah almost immediately into the small group he was in. Are he and I actually friends? Or was he just desperate for anyone to help him with Mina?

The thought didn’t last for more than a few seconds before she looked at Amara again. “Anyway, the point is, I don’t need to prove how awesome I am with any of that stuff. Spend enough time with me, and you’re sure to remember the Bee!”

Delilah gave the calculating girl a cheerful thumbs up and a broad toothy smile.

She took note of Amara’s eyes for a moment, but didn’t quite think twice about them. They somewhat reminded her of the man she saw in the top level of the hotel when she first arrived at the resort. However, any deeper analysis was cut off by Delilah’s nervous response to messing up Nevashi’s name.

“Uh...yeah. That. Maybe you can write it down on a piece of paper or something and staple it to my forehead so I don’t forget it. I’m not so good with names that I’ve never heard before. I usually just call him ‘doc’.”

After a small awkward pause, Delilah raised her hand up. “But anyway, speaking of awesome, nice job saving Floyd! I was worried that he wouldn’t last long in the forest on his own. High-five!”
