The sickness struck everyone over fourteen.
First it twisted their minds.
Next it ravaged their bodies.
Now they roam the streets -
crazed and hungry.

Across a broken London the young hide in gangs.
Scavenging to survive, they can see only one ending.
Until from across the city come rumors of a safe house.
To get there they must face the Enemy -
the mindless killers who once promised to love and protect them always.

Can they trust each other long enough to make it out alive?​

This roleplay is loosly based off of the book series The Enemy. The gangs consist of:
- The Holloway Crew, (Morrisons and Waitrose are the two seperate factions)
- The Tower Kids, (They live in the Tower of London)
- The Museum Kids, (They are found in the Natural History Museum)
- The Countrysiders, (This one I kind of made up but it is loosely based of of groups in the book. They are situated in the immediate countryside outside London)
- The Palace Kids, (They live in Buckingham Palace)
- The Government, (Found in the Houses of Parliament)
- The Outcasts, (They live all over, they aren't associated with anyone)

The Leaders who will be NPCs are:
- Maxie and Blue (The Holloway Crew) Maxie - Waitrose/Blue - Morrisons
Maxie is quiet plain looking, with short chopped and scrappy hair, and a pretty face. She wears a leather jacket and jeans. Maxie is quite friendly, helping others and looking after everyone, she can be quite harsh though. She is strong willed and carries on, even after many loses. She uses a Katana
Blue is a muscular boy with dark skin and close-cropped hair. As a leader, Blue is very tough. Blue is tough and shows no weakness. However, when alone with Maxie, he is shown to be funny and really nice, stating that he has to be tough when other kids are around.
- Jordan Hordern and Ed (The Tower Kids)
Jordan is a black boy who although may not look it at first, has incredible strength and agility. He wears thick glasses and is also known as General Hordern. His glasses are held together with plasters. Jordan Hordern is a serious and cold blooded, but reasonable and self-disciplined, leader who regularly trains his crew to fight, cook, clean and find food for themselves. He sets rules which he expects his crew to abide by and isn't afraid to enforce punishments to certain people who break the rules. He is, however, a just and fair minded individual who strictly abides by the same rules he sets out.
Ed is empty. He is cold when fighting sickos and sees it happening as if he was someone else. But he is still kind and cares for others. He was handsome, with light hair, soft brown eyes, and quite tall. He lost his looks when a sicko strikes his face with a meat cleaver, giving him a scar running from his mouth to his forehead, which distorts his face. Because of this scar, many find him scary or ugly.
- Brooke and Justin (The Museum Kids)
Brooke has brown hair, she is thin. She also has a scar across her forehead which is covered in swellings and bruises. Brooke is commonly seen as being self-centred and rude, but she does have a softer side. She knows right from wrong. She also has a motherly instinct and takes care of the younger kids at the Natural History Museum.
Justin is the nerdy leader of the Museum Kids.
- Malik and Ella (The Countrysiders)
Malik is the leader of the Countrysiders, he is horribly disfigured after he was attacked by sickos, he often is mistaken for one.
Ella is a kind young girl who is fearful of nearly everything. She is afraid of adults and fears having to fight them. Although she is very much afraid of most things, she is also shown to be brave when needed and trusting of others. Despite her initial belief that Malik was an adult, she was brave enough to follow him and trusted him to take care of her.
- David and Jester (The Palace Kids)
David is a hypocritical, pragmatic, self-centred, hegemonic and power-crazed dictator, and he expects everyone to do as he says. He doesn't care a lot for others, as long as he could accomplish his own objectives. David pompously expects people to do as he says, and cares incredibly about his image. He has a certain degree of determination, independence, confidence and charisma. He bears a similarity to Jordan, thinking that organisation was the key to survival. He is highly intelligent. David has an excellent sense of style: He dresses smartly, almost extravagantly and with a lack of self-consciousness.
Jester is a boy who looks around sixteen with a shock of stiff, matted hair, a wide mouth set in a thin, clever face with a nose that was slightly too large for it. He possesses a patchwork coat made up from different pieces of cloth that he collects from his fallen comrades. Jester is selfish as he always looks out for number one. Jester is also very mysterious and distances himself from others.
- Nicola (The Government)
Nicola is a lot like David in her desire for organisation, she however is nicer about it.+
- Shadowman (The Outcasts)
Shadowman, has dark hair, and white skin. He is quite dirty as tends not to wash as he likes to mask his scent. He constantly wears a cloak with hood, that is camouflaged so as to help hide him from people, he also feels it helps mask who he is. He has a small laptop bag which is constantly with him and in which he keeps most of his equipment. Shadowman prefers his own company, and doesn't mind not fitting in with the other groups of people. He uses a crossbow.

1. Buckingham Palace is the rumoured 'safe house'.
2. David and Nicola are working together.
3. When the kids turn 15 they stay immune and healthy, they don't suddenly become diseased.

The infected are referred to in many ways, Sickos, Mothers and Fathers, Grown Ups, Strangers, Oppoes, Zombies ect.

Personality: Kat is very loyal and kind, she is great with younger kids and is always gentle. In a fight however she is ruthless and unforgiving. She is afraid of heights.

Appearance: Kind of tall, skinny and curvaceous. She has blue hair and blue eyes. She wears a black hoodie and a pair of black jeans. She also wears a pair of black trainers.
Personality: She is kind, calm and civil, but she can get easily annoyed or angry, she doesn't like being told what to do.

Gender: Female
Appearance: Hallie has red hair that goes down mid-waist. She usually keeps it in a high pony so that it doesn't get in her way. Her eyes are surprisingly a dark brown and they always seem to be sparkling with mischief. She wears flexible clothing, usually a long-sleeved shirt with leggings. She has a lean build, a speedy build. She prefers a hit and run tactic as opposed to brute strength and has trained for so. She's around 5'3 and weighs at about 100 pounds.
Personality: While she's not fighting, Hallie is almost never serious especially when she should be. Since many of her jokes and pranks could get her into serious trouble, she jots them down into a journal determined to use them one day when this chaos is over. When she is fighting, she turns into a silent thinker that's plotting somebody's demise. She can throw her light-weight throwing knives at incredible speeds which makes some people cautious around her.
Group: The Tower Kids
Weapon: 4 blades (2-3 are spares) and a plethora of throwing knives.
Other: I never read the series, so I hope I did everything correctly. If there's anything I need to change please tell me.

Appearance: Around 5 feet 2 inches in height with a skinny frame, she has short, neatly kept brown hair, pale skin and blue eyes. Her attire is fairly formal with purple dress pants, a white button up shirt and a purple blazer.
Personality: Playful and Driven, Alyssa is all for having fun but when something comes around that she's passionate about she’ll put everything aside to do it. She likes to have control and admires Nicola. Alyssa believes wholeheartedly in Nicola’s goal.
Group: The government
Weapon: A long wooden staff with a metal hook on the end.
Other: Insists on attempting to parkour although wearing in-effective clothes for it.

Bio: He lost his brother, and that was about it. After that, he had to resort to his wild style that combined street fighting with tae kwon do until he found a decent branch he carved and sharpened into a kunai. He refuses to kill unless absolutely necessary.
Name: Ryan Atsonus
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Appearance: he has gray-black hair that covers his right eye, and black sweatpants that are rather baggy, and below the knees he wrapped bandages around his shins. He prefers not to wear shoes. But if he must, he has a pair of blue open toed sandals (because normal sandals aren't open toed apparently.) and a black polo shirt, with a blue jacket over that that's a little too big. He also carries his equipment and interesting things he finds in a leather satchel. (5 '10/ 97.3 lbs/ pretty dang good shape.)
Personality: Rather quiet, doesn't care for power or dominance much. Tends to piss orderly people off with his laid back and care-free attitude, which vanishes in an instant when someone tells him to shut up, then he gets pissed.
Group: Outcast
Weapon: A short branch he carved into a Kunai, and a neatly carved javelin made from the branch of an oak tree, the bark is peeled off, his brother made it for him to practice with when he was 11.
Other: He is strictly vegetarian.

@Steel_Snek I appear to have misunderstood, I thought you meant part of the gang, known as The Outcasts, which is why I mentioned Ryan in my post.

Also the Outcasts and the Museum Kids are the only ones that kind of know that David is bad.

Name: Raven Ignis
Age: 13
Gender: Straight Female
Appearance: Standing at a height of 5'4, Raven has long black hair with blood-red highlights and green eyes. She typically wears a black hoodie with a red skull motif on the back, torn black jeans, and black combat boots. She is of caucasian descent.
Personality: She's highly calculating and crafty, and a master of mental warfare. She is often cold, rarely opening up to anyone (even Allie). She considers herself fairly unlikable (not that she cares). She hates girly-girls, with the exception of Mia, and is willing to get her hands dirty in any situation.
Group: Outcasts
Weapon: A steel dagger with an ornate handle decorated with skulls. She has had it since the age of six.
Other: Mia and Allie are her best friends.

Name: Allison Silverstone (Prefers to be called Allie)
Age: 14
Gender: Straight Female
Appearance: Standing at a height of 5'8, Allie has long brown hair and brown eyes. She typically wears a simple navy-blue hoodie, black leggings, a black belt, black running shoes with blue laces, and a black bow in her hair. She also has dual blades across her back and a bow/quiver at her hip. She is of caucasian descent.
Personality: Before the events of this RP, Allie was bubbly and flamboyant. Now, though she still is likable and somewhat friendly, she's given up a lot of hope. Like Raven, she's crafty and cunning. She is willing to kill or be killed to protect those she loves.
Group: Outcasts
Weapon: Though she dislikes fighting, she wields two steel blades that she stole from the Palace Kids. She also has a bow that she built herself, which she prefers and is very precise with.
Other: She is best friends with Mia and Raven.

Gender: Female (she doesn't care about romance whatsoever)
Appearance: Standing at a height of 5'3, Mia's natural hair color is blonde, but she has fading multicolored pastel dye in her hair. She wears a pink t-shirt, a white jacket that is partially dyed black, forest-green leggings, and black boots. She has blue eyes and is of caucasian descent. She has a brown belt, holding her quiver, dagger, and poison container.
Personality: Even with the current situation, Mia is the epitome of whimsicality. She has hope even in the most desperate of situations, and is always trying to boost the morale among her friends. Regardless of her cutesy personality, she can be needlessly cruel in battle and enjoys watching her foes suffer.
Group: Outcasts. She was originally a member of the Palace Kids, but was kicked out.
Weapon: Like Allie, she has a handmade bow that she typically tips with poison. She also has a small dagger, which she also soaks with deadly poison.
Other: She is best friends with Allie and Raven.
