17 years ago there was an event known as Ragnarok where the gods appeared and attempted to wipe out humanity but they were defeated by the current world government every year there is a competition known as the God of High-school one person from every High-School is selected to compete in the tournament.
Humans to catch up with the strength of gods and demons developed two things martial arts in order to make up with strength using techniques and borrowed power which is as it sounds borrowing power from a different source this can be a god a mythological creature or hero a real person or even an animal. One person can only have one borrowed power. and a person can use both.
borrowed power is used for energy and every-part of modern society. Some people cant get borrowed powers and are treated by society as dead batteries and do most labour based jobs.
After the war the taboo was broken and know normal people can us borrowed power there is multiple ways of getting borrowed power you can be born with one, can be selected by the entity powers being borrowed. or a person can specifically choose a entity to borrow power from as long as it's not already in use.

personality: Dante is a upbeat and happy guy who likes having fun, but Dante will go to any lengths to prove that he has worth as a person as due to his parents leaving him, he feels as if that he isn't even a person sometimes and just wants to do something to prove to the world and himself that he is human.
backstory: Dante for as long as he could remember was in a junkyard in America. Where he had to struggle to survive but at the age of 12 Dante left the junkyard and tried to go to a normal school where was ruthlessly bullied this lead to Dante learning how to fight with various tools at the junkyard.
Borrowed power: Benkei the monk with 999 swords
ability: Dante can summon and switch out what weapon he is using with on of the many Benkei owned, or any weapon Dante has used in combat and drawn blood with.
Martial arts:His own version of Hanbojutsu which involves using a staff for hooking, a staff held in the middle so it can be used to block and attack with both ends. or held at the end like a s word.

Personality: Zakonski is extremely loyal to the world president as the man literally saved his life. Giving him money, and a well paying job Zakonski believes in honor and battle and hates cheap tactics. Zakonski is kind but harsh he struggles to show love and kindness due to the sudden loss of his family, but Zakonski is too busy to foster real emotional connections and wishes to just have a normal life but his loyalty to the world president comes first.

He still holds his position as the right hand of the world president but has never attempted to reclaim his position in the six.

Direct contanct- Zakonski completely connects with Leonidas he absorbs as much of leonidas's powers as possible greatly increase all his physical capabilities.

backstory: Sumato from a young age was skilled at sword fighting, and at one point was the best in japan due to the preassure to peform well he fell into alcoholism and eventually became homeless. When ragnarock hit he called on Miyamoto Musashi and defended a bunch of innocent people he decided ragnrock was a wacke up call he improved his life and remade himself. He was a legend among the homeless comunity and was selcted as the second executive for the world presidant.
