So we've all heard the story before. Hero goes on an unoriginal quest to save the world from someone who is only trying to help. It's happens all the time. Yet, we don't ever think about the people we are told are bad. We never think if the hero is actually the bad guy and the person the hero is trying to kill or beat or stop is really the person who we should be routing for. We always get told one side of the story.
Now what if I told you that we can see the 'villains' side of the story. What if we could explore the character more, look into his past and how he truly feels. Interesting right? What if you could be the villain or the henchmen in the story. Well, you can. Anyone can. Everyone can. All you have to do is expand your mind.
Now, the plot of this story is that the hero went out to stop the villain who goes by Abyss. His plan: to enslave everyone. Well, that's how it looks at first glance. You see, he isn't evil. He hates violence and thinks that humanity will not prosper if they continue to attack each other. He doesn't believe in religion as he thinks that it is just another excuse to fight. Even though he thinks that, he isn't an idiot. He knows that not all people in a religion are the same. But, the way he see's it, eliminate religion, eliminate a crap reason as to why violence is allowed.
He isn't a pacifist either. He knows that he will have to be a hypocrite to get to his goal. Abyss uses violence in certain areas, but only where necessary. When we followed the hero, we only got glimpses of the necessary bits.
Now we can show everyone else Abysses side of the story. We can go as far as to become them. Of course we will need the hero in this story too, but he will not be the main character. He will be more like a side character, showing up when you don't want him to.
We don't know what any of the characters look like or their real names. It doesn't really matter. They can look like whatever you want. This is just to show everyone that their truly is two sides to every story. And the one we get told isn't always the best one.
