The Pain of Living

OOC: Ok, you can critize and praise if you want. You could call this a love story, but not like Romio and Julliet. Its more a revenge story... I got inspartation from a doucmentry on a plane crash in America. Its funny how such tragic events spark the imagination... Why am I telling you this? I have no idea.

CHAPTER ONE

No... no... THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING!!!

The world had ended, so why hadn't the noise stopped? Why hadn't the world fallen into ruin in silent horror? Why could she I still fell the pain, burning pain, coursing all over my body? Why can I still remember... remember...

I glanced out the window. It was storming, with hail the size of golf balls smashing into the window, and falling down to earth. There was no way you could hear yourself think. I looked at the Pokemon curled up on my lap, shaking with terror. He had the right to be terrorfied. Buizel's can't stand electricity, and this was a storm... A burst of lightning caught my eye. It was dangerously close. The plane shuddered and I saw a flash of light eminate from the engine on the closeset wing. It had stopped. Seconds later, there was another jolt. The other engine had given way. They were going down.

"Attention Ladies, Gentlemen and Pokemon. This is your captain," a voice annouced, "Both of our engines have failed. We shall be crash landing in about nine minutes. We may be able to reach Hearthome airport in time. Please fasten your seatbelts and remain calm."

There was a deathly silence, then a woman screamed, and chaos erupted. Parents grabbed their crying children and held them close. Lovers embraced, seeming to want to go down with each other. And those with no friends or family on board screamed their secrets to the heavens, determinded to have said them before they die.

"Buizel!" I cried.

The water otter Pokemon looked at me with his emerald green eyes.

"Get in your Pokeball! Please!" I begged him, holding out his Pokeball.

Buizel looked once at me, then looked at the Pokeball. In one swift, graceful movement, he kicked the pokeball out of my hand. It bounced away, down the aisle.

'If we are going to die, we die together.' was his message.

I had known that this was coming. If it was his wish, then all I could do was obey. I pulled Buizel close and got ready to somehow live though the longest nine minutes of my life.

***

Screams were erupting from everywhere. I shut my eyes, too scared to see the ground approch, to see how long I and/or Buizel had to live.

"I love you Buizel." I whispered in the terrified Pokemon's ear.

It seemed to calm him. And then it happened. The force of hitting the ground after nine minutes of freefall was something you can't imagine. I was strangely calm, until I could fell Buizel slipping from my graspt. I tried to hold on, but my head then slammed into the seat in front of me, forceing my eyes open. Buizel seemed to fly through the air in slow motion. He crashed into a piece of solid steel, and even I could hear the defeaning crunch of his skull...

A touch woke me from my mourning. It was a flight attendant.

"I'm sorry about your Buizel miss." She said quietly, "But please stay here. You have suffered a lot of injuries. You need medical assistance."

Then she walked away, to find the other suriviors. I turned me attention back the what remained of Buizel. His head was in pieces, bits of bone and brain were visible. His floation sack was torn into pieces. I picked up one small piece and pocketed it. I also picked up a small piece of metal and pocketed that too. Why couldn't Buizel have used his floation sack to cusion the fall.

"He must have paniced and forgotton about it." I muttered to myself.

Buizel appeared to have no paws. They must have been crushed out of existance. Parts of his spines were sticking out of his body. Blood was everywhere. I felt tears welling up in my eyes. I couldn't help it. Soon, blood wasn't the only thing on Buizel's body. My hand went to the necklace of string Buizel had found for me.

"I have to bury him." I said to myself.

It was the least I could do to repay him for all the laughter he had given me. I picked up Buizel's body, and tried to stand. Pain exploded in my left leg. It wouldn't support my weight.

"Chansey! Chansey!!!" Came a Pokemon's cry from somewhere.

"Ma Chop Chop!!!" was the reply.

Strong but gentle hands lifted her and Buizel up and carried them away. I couldn't hold onto my conceness any longer. The world faded into darkness...

That was wonderful. I loved how you showed the affection a Pokemon can have for a trainer.

I have to say, I do like the description of Buizel's dead body for some strange reason. I have a very vivid imagination, so I just saw appendages strewn everywhere.

I would like to see where this ends up.

Me like, me really like! The manner of death for Buizel saddended me a little bit. I cried...in my mind.

I hope she gets another Pokemon if she doesn't already have others. I know how she's feeling, losing someone in a plane crash. Not 9/11, but you get the point.

KEEP IT UP... OR ELSE.

I finished writing the second chapter. Thanks for the comments too! Enjoy peoples! :p

Chapter 2

Whose fault was it? It had to be someones...

I woke up to find myself lying on a bed of leaves. Buizel was lying on a bed of flowers. The blood was gone, his paws and head were almost hidden from the flowers. Groggly, I sat up. A Machop and Chansey were watching me. I then noticed that my leg was bandaged up and it didn't seem to hurt. I moved it. No pain.

"Th..thanks..." I managed to stutter.

"Chans...sey..." The Chansey said, pointing to Buizel.

"Time to bury him... ..."

"Chop..." The Machop said as he walked outside of the cave we were in.

Taking that as a 'yes', I gently picked up Buizel's body and turned to follow Chansey and Machop to Buizel's resting place. The two Pokemon lead me up a hill. Running water seemed to be nearby. The sound got louder and louder as we walked upwards. At last, Machop and Chansey stopped. A waterfall was infront of them. It was magnificent. You couldn't see the bottom. I tapped the solid rock that was the ground with my shoe.

"We can't bury him here." I stated, "It's solid rock!"

The two Pokemon glanced at each other, and the Machop pointed to the waterfall. I stared at him blankly. The Chansey pointed to Buizel first, then at the waterfall.

"We...we return thim to his element..." I said, understanding.

Both Pokemon nodded. I looked at Buizel. He seemed peaceful dispite his injuries and the horrible death he had died. Wordlessly, I walked forwards to the edge of the waterfall, not caring for my safety. I looked around at the surrondings. There probably wasn't a more beautiful place in the world. I looked at Buizel again, wishing I hadn't wanted to go by Plane to Hearthome. But there was nothing I could do about it. It had happened, and that was the end of it. My emotions started to well up in me, threatening to break free, but I held them steady.

"Like I said," I whispered to Buizel, or his spirit really, "I love you Buizel, I really do. And I... I... will avenge your death... Rest in Peace Buizel... my best and only friend..."

Then I let his body go. It fell down the waterfall, an orange fleck in a sea of white. A gold thing that looked like an otter swam up the waterfall and up through the air. It paused to look at me sadly, then continued it's journey upwards. When it was nothing more that a fleck in the sky, near the top of Mount Cornet, it flashed brilliant gold, then disappeared and was gone.

"Goodbye Buizel..." I whispered.

I stood there for who knows how long, with my head bowed, crying silently Machop and Chansey left, but I barly noticed. When I could control my emotions, I thought about my promise. Who was resonsible for Buizel's death? Was it the plane company for refuseing to give good weather reports to the pilots? No, they didn't make the weather. Then was it Kyorge's fault? He was the lord of water and could make it storm if he wanted to... but no, Kyorge had a master, a supreme being, that lived in Sinnoh, God, or more commonly known as Arceus. Arceus controled everyone's fates, so it was his fault. My eyes narrowed, my feelings going from dispair to rage. It was Arceus's fault Buizel was dead, and for that, Arceus was going down.

Taking...down...Arceus?! Insane in the membrane! HE IS GOD. HE HAS HIS OWN RELIGION.

Does she use other Pokemon to meet this revenge? or her bare hands?that would be impressive

You really left a good cliffhanger-type deal. Wanting to bring down Arceus is REALLY something.

Wow impressive!!! Very good, I can't wait untill the next chapter. I don't mean to scare you, I was just being nice, sorry if I freaked you out....... :(

lol Arceus is god. But then again, he kinda is in teh pokemon world...But taking him down? EPIC!!!No one likes the fugly thing anyways.

But, omg I mentally cried at the buizel's death...I think you described its dead body perfectally.

Yeah, I've always thought of him as god... A very crappy God... :p
Here's chapter 3

Chapter 3

I picked up a dusty old book, trying to read it's title. Impossible. Kinda like killing Arceus. Or almost. 'Cause Arceus is a Pokemon, and must have a weakness, right? I sure hope he does... Thats why I was in Celestrial Town. I opened the book and began reading.

'A Sinnoh Truth,
Sinnoh, and the world in general, were created by a Pokemon. A Pokemon we shall call the 'original one'. Before the world was created, an egg appeared out of nowhere. It hatched to the original one. The Orignial One wanted to create something using his vast powers. So he created a planet, covered with...'

I flicked to another chapter. I didn't need to know about what Arceus had done that was 'good' for the world. A title of another chapter caught me eye. I began to read.

'The Battle of Time and Space, and the Birth of Emotion, Knowledge and Willpower
Diagla and Palkia were angry at each other. Both wanted to be the Orignal One's right hand Pokemon. The two started to fight atop Mount Cornet, at Spear Pillar. The fighting went on for years, with nether gaining the advantage over the other, because they were equals. One day, Palkia stumbled on a large multi-coloured pearl. It inhanced his Powers. So Palkia began to rip Diagla apart. The Orignial one saw what was happening and created three beings of Willpower, Knowledge and Emotion, Azelf, Uxie and Mespirit, who had the power to stop the legendry Pokemon of Time and Space using red crystals. They now ca...'

So Arceus has power over Legendry Pokemon... but isn't helping me... I flicked a through a few pages and found another chapter...

'Arceus and Claw
Claw was a Charizard, the strongest of his kind. He could defeat any oppenent with ease. But he grew bored of normal Pokemon oppenents. He wanted to battle Arceus. Claw flew to the top of Mount Cornet, Spear Pillar, and blew into the Heavens Flute, whose call Arceus had to answer, incase a human or Pokemon needed his help. Arceus came down and asked Claw what was the matter. Claw challaged Arceus to a battle to the death. The winner would be God. Arceus agreed. They fought for days nonstop. After fifteen days nonstop of battle, Arceus couldn't attack anymore. He slumped down on the ground, and Claw roared in trimuph. Claw raked his talons down Arceus's back, causing him great pain. Then Claw used the move Steel Wing on Arceus's throat. The attack didn't work. Claw tried again, for hours, intil he couldn't move. The Arceus shot a beam of bright light at Claw, killing him. He left him there, as a reminder to anyone who would rebel against him. He then threw Heaven's Flute off Mount Cornet, so no one could ever summon him again.'

I swallowed. Here was the fate of a fellow rebel, and the end of the item that could get me to Arceus. Or was it? Had Heaven's Flute really been destroyed? Or was it still somewhere in Sinnoh? And what about Claw? He had only done damage to Arceus with his claws, not with his moves. Did that mean that Arceus couldn't be killed with moves? And how could I get to Mount Cornet? I'm pretty sure he's at Spear Pillar…

"I need a Pokemon…" I said to myself.

The door creaked open and two females stepped inside.

"It is worrying Grandma." Said the taller, and younger of the two.

"I know Cynthia, I know…" The elderly one said.

"Team Galactic are becoming too much of a threat. Even if Cyrus is not overly strong, he's already wrecking havoc. We have to stop him and his plans for Spear Pillar and a new world."

"How?"

"We infutrate their buildings in Eterna and Veilstone. Eterna first, who knows what Cyrus has in Veilstone for defences?"

"But what if they gain too many members?"

"I don't know…"

Cynthia and her grandma left, leaving me trembling with excitement. Team Galactic was going to Spear Pillar. Arceus could be summonded from there. And Team Galactic gave new members Pokemon… All I needed was Heaven's Flute and a weapon to kill him with. I picked up my things quietly, and left Celestic Town.

Yes!! Finally, by the looks of it, the main character being on the bad side (:. Your style is awesome, keep up the great work!!

Thanks guys, sorry for not posting for a while... :-\
And I'm not a very good speller for my class... :p

Chapter 4

Saturn sighed and leaned back in his chair. There were a lot of new recruits lately, and while that was good for Team Galactic, he was dieing of overuse of extreme boring. The door opened and a young girl walked in a sat in the only other empty seat. Saturn studied her closely. She had fiery red hair, with, although it was hard to see, blotches of dried blood littering it. Her eyes were ice-blue, or more like white and they x-rayed him with a cold stare. Her clothes were torn and bloodied. Around her neck there was a piece of string with a yellow material and some piece of steel. Must be some connetion to her past.

"I'm here to join..." She said softly

"Yes, yes, I know..." Saturn muttered dryly, "Have you had any experience with battleing before?"

"Yeah..."

"Do you have a Pokemon?"

"No..."

"Have you any past experience in any thing besides from battling? Like IT?"

"No..."

"Ok, well you will have a trial, and it will last for as long we need to see that you will be a good employee for us..."

She rose to leave, but Saturn called,

"Hey, what's your name anyway?"

She looked at him blankly, as if unsure what a name was.

"I have none..."

Saturn grinned mischievously, "Can I call you, 'baby'?"

In a flash, the girl was beside him. She raised her fist, and punched him in the face. She moved so fast, Saturn couldn't defend himself. Darkness closed in...

***

Saturn awoke to see a female grunt in front of him. He looked around, he was in a hospital bed.

"Wha...What happened?" he asked the grunt.

"I knocked you out for two days." She said simply.

"Oh... TWO DAYS!?!"

"Yes. I have a rather firm fist..."

"And in that time, you have become a grunt!"

"Yeah. And I got a Pokemon…" She pointed to the Glameow who was sitting on her shoulder, "And a mission. You are coming too."

Saturn silently got up and walked out the door.

A bit short, but hilarious with the punch nonetheless. I XD'd at that for a few minutes.

Yes!! Finally, by the looks of it, the main character being on the bad side (:.

Murkwood, have you seen the rest of the board? Seriously, have you?*points automatically at Runaway and Control Freak*

Sorry 'bout that, but I couldn't resist....however, it was greatly varied with the addition of showing Saturn's pov.

Well, the last thing she wants is some guy groping at her... The punch? I get shocked by my own genius sometimes... :p

And genius you are! Has Nameless even showered since the plane crash or has she just been on a maniacal killing spree? Those are the only 2 reasons people are covered in tattered bloody clothes.

But damn! A single punch put Saturn in a comma for 2 days! He better watch himself around her, I hate to see what a kick to the balls would do :-X. *shudders*

*lolz at the thought*

Survival of the strongest! And she did survive... Much to her dismay... :p

I'll be working on the next chapter, I'm on holidays at the moment, and will have plenty of time to write!

Hmmm... Psycho, you made me think that the punch was to strong, so I gave her something to make that seem more real...

Chapter 5

I raced forwards, Glameow at my side, Saturn in front. He seemed to want to lead. A trait you get from being in charge, I suppose. Anyway, I had a mission, and Saturn was coming along, to make sure I wasn't going to betray Team Galactic. Even though Cyrus knew why I was here, and what I wanted to do.

"He doesn't trust anybody..." I muttered to myself.

We stopped, hiding behind a very large tree, looking around the dark street for anyone who may be around. There didn't appear to be anyone, so we crept out.

"Who... are... you....?" A voice asked

I heard Saturn curse. A elderly man had been walking down the street, out of our eye sight.

"We are no one of any interest." Saturn said.

I rolled my eyes.

"That is not how you stop someone." I said, "You of all people should know that."

And without futher time passing, I punched the old man in the face. He toppled onto the ground, skull bleeding madly, holes in his head.

"I think he will forget about this..." I said mildly.

Saturn was staring at me as if I were a dangerous animal walking into his bedroom.

"How do I do it?" I stated his unspoken question, "Well, when you want something badly, you must not let anything stand in your way."

"But no one could do that much damage to someone with a single punch... It's not natural..."

"No, It's not." I took off my gloves, showing Saturn the steel that was attached to my knuckles.

"Oh..." He seemed to regain himself, "Proffesor Rowan's lab is across the road. Let's go."

I followed obediently. We walked across the street, trying to look as un-interesting as we could. Saturn walked around the back, and spotted an open window.

"Up there."

I lept up, holding onto the eves as support, and climbed though the open window on the second floor. Saturn came in seconds later. Proffesor Rowan had his back to us, holding some papers. They appeared to be about Pokemon evolveing, and the power they let off using it. The papers we needed.

"Excuse me, Proffessor." Saturn called.

Rowan turned around, and then froze, seeing us.

"What do you want?" He spat.

"Papers on Evolvation."

Rowan cluched the papers closer to his chest, "You can't have them."

"Oh really..." I purred, "I don't think so, as you, my friend, are going to get a major concussion!"

I lept forwards, and rammed my fist into his head. He seemed stunned, and I punched him again. That did it. He fell down, knocked out.

"That was fun!" I exclaimed, and punched the Proffessor again for good luck.

Saturn rolled his eyes and picked up the papers, before climbing out the window. I followed, and we ran into the woods, where the helicopter was waiting.

***

Dawn hummed as she opened up the door to the lab.

"Proffessor?" she called

There was no reply.

"Proffessor?" Dawn walked up the stairs, then screamed.

The proffessor was lying on the floor, dried blood everywhere.

"PROFFESSOR!!!" Dawn screamed, then turned and ran outside.

She tripped on someone's body. Her Grandpa's corspe. He was in the same state as the Proffessor. Dawn ran off screaming.

*amused laughter* I love it! You tramatized Dawn :D!

I believe the word you wanted was evolution not "evolvation"

Metal knuckles does explain super human punches. I can't wait for chapter 6 to see how much more merciless our protagonist can get.

...Nice Aura XP

Poor buizel, having his head split open.
I've had my head cracked open, but not to the point where bits of skull and brain are everywhere XP

So have I... It hurts...

Psycho, I think you may have noticed that I'm a really bad speller...

Thanks guys! Working on the next chapter...

I'm a really bad speller too, so half the stuff I never notice. I'm just a biology major who's been playing Pokemon for half his life so evolution is one of the things that just jumps out at me ;).

Chapter 6

WARNING! IF LANGUAGE OFFENDS, DO NOT READ!

Cyrus had been grateful for what Saturn and I did, just a few weeks ago. He had rewarded me with a Clefairy, a high reward, and Saturn obtained a Bronzor. I wasn't that proud of what I had done that day. The old man was dead, and the Proffessor was in hospital with amnesia. Cyrus had been rather amused. Still, I didn't like it. But if it was what I had to do... so be it.

As I had no use for a Clefairy, I'd traded it for a computer with a router, so I could search for the item that was the key to my plan. Heavens Flute. And that was what I was doing right now, scanning the internet for it...

I typed into Google 'Heavens Flute location'. It mainly came up with the myth I'd found in the old book, about Arceus and Claw. But one caught my attention. It was saying that the Heavens Flute had been moved to Snowpoint City, where it was being carefully monitered...

I clicked on the link, and quickly discovered that Heavens Flute wasn't the only mythical item in the museum. The Adamant and Lustious Orb's were both there too. Grinning, I turned off the computer and walked out the room, Glameow tailing me.

***

"Yes?" Cyrus called from within the room.

"Cyrus," I began, "In am museum in Snowpoint City, there's two orbs related to Sinnoh Mythology..."

Cyrus cut in,"Let me guess, they are only a diversion so you will have an excuse to get something else... am I right?"

I nodded shamlessly.

"The two orbs are not really needed, but a little power is never complained about." He looked a me, as if he was reading my soul, "I think, we might as well gain these orbs. And you have my permission to steal that Item you want as well."

"Ok, but how do you know about this 'item'?"

"You're not the only one who researches, my dear."

I nodded again. Trust Cyrus to be the one to find out more, mainly to see if I would betray him.

"You may go to Snowpoint City and steal the two orbs, along with anything else that may 'intrest' you (OOC - mega understatment). I, along with someone else, will meet you at the pad, in... ten minutes?"

I nodded, then raced out to get whatever I would need.

***

Unlike Saturn, Jupiter had no sense of humor, and wanted to put me down at every turn. I bet she would make me feel bad even if I saved her life. So I was in a very bad mood when we touched down behind the temple.

"Don't forget, leave me to do the fighting. You're no good at all." she stated.

I bit my lip to stop my retort from leaving my mind. What a bitch. We crept towards the Museum, with was rather hard in the snow. The Museum was built into a hill, with only it's front visible, and with no other ways in. So Queen Bitch and I had to go though the front door. A guard stood by it.

"Yawn." I whispered to my Glameow.

Even though it hated me, the cat Pokemon obeyed, sending a small cloud towards the guard. Within minutes, he was snoring. Jupiter rolled her eyes.

"You slut. You could have just ripped his guts out, and we won't have a problem if he woke up. How you're doing this mission, I shall never know."

With that, she walked up and ordered her Stunky to use 'cut'. Soon, blood was everywhere. Without caring she walked forwards. I followed.

"We should split up." I said to her, "We'll find the Orbs faster."

"And what if we find them, and the other doesn't know?"

I paused, thinking, "How 'bout, we meet here in... thirty minutes?"

"Whatever." She turned and walked away, leaving me free to search for the flute. I hadn't been given the time to look at the museum's layout, so I had to hurry. Spotting a map, I raced over, hoping for a clue or pointer. There was. Apparently, the Flute was in a glass (like that would stop me) case in the indoor garden (what the hell?). After memorising the way, I started running. Not for long though, I was stopped by a guard.

"Surrender now!" He yelled, aimed a gun at my heart.

I snorted, "Really, like a gun's gonna make me stop..." and I ran up and slammed my fist into his jaw. I left him there, and didn't stop, until Queen Bitch crashed into me.

"I've got them!" She screeched, "Lets get the hell out of here!"

I acted quickly and without thinking. SMASH!!! Next moment, Jupiter was lying on the ground, knocked out, bleeding. I ran into the garden, smashed the glass container, and tucked in into my bag. Then wondered aloud,

"What the hell am I gonna do about Jupiter...?"

Glameow purred, rubbing herself around my legs, before running down the hallway, to where the guard lay... Getting the hint I ran and dragged the guard up to where Jupiter lay. I lay him on the ground and woke Jupiter up.

"YOU BITCH!!!" She screamed, "You punched me!!!"

"NO! It wasn't me! A guard snuck up on us!" I showed her the dead guard, "See?"

She glowered at me and snarled, "You could have stopped him!"

I tryed to answer, but she didn't wait for me.

"Let's get out of here. NOW BITCH!" she snarled, seeing my hesitaion.

I sighed, and ran after her, back to the entrance.

***

"Here we are!" I delared as we skidded to a stop in front of the doors.

"Thank you for stateing the obivous." Jupiter rolled her eyes, just as the door burst open.

"Put those down!" Candice screamed at us.

Jupiter leapt into the battle.

"Stunky! Smokescreen!"

A dark haze filled the room, muffleing my sigh. I didn't have time for this. So, using the smoke as my cover, I raced up to the Ice type gym leader, and let the punches fly.

"Jupiter, lets go." I grabbed Queen Bitch and dragged her out the door, leading Candice dying on the floor.
