OOC: Ok, you can critize and praise if you want. You could call this a love story, but not like Romio and Julliet. Its more a revenge story... I got inspartation from a doucmentry on a plane crash in America. Its funny how such tragic events spark the imagination... Why am I telling you this? I have no idea.
CHAPTER ONE
No... no... THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING!!!
The world had ended, so why hadn't the noise stopped? Why hadn't the world fallen into ruin in silent horror? Why could she I still fell the pain, burning pain, coursing all over my body? Why can I still remember... remember...
I glanced out the window. It was storming, with hail the size of golf balls smashing into the window, and falling down to earth. There was no way you could hear yourself think. I looked at the Pokemon curled up on my lap, shaking with terror. He had the right to be terrorfied. Buizel's can't stand electricity, and this was a storm... A burst of lightning caught my eye. It was dangerously close. The plane shuddered and I saw a flash of light eminate from the engine on the closeset wing. It had stopped. Seconds later, there was another jolt. The other engine had given way. They were going down.
"Attention Ladies, Gentlemen and Pokemon. This is your captain," a voice annouced, "Both of our engines have failed. We shall be crash landing in about nine minutes. We may be able to reach Hearthome airport in time. Please fasten your seatbelts and remain calm."
There was a deathly silence, then a woman screamed, and chaos erupted. Parents grabbed their crying children and held them close. Lovers embraced, seeming to want to go down with each other. And those with no friends or family on board screamed their secrets to the heavens, determinded to have said them before they die.
"Buizel!" I cried.
The water otter Pokemon looked at me with his emerald green eyes.
"Get in your Pokeball! Please!" I begged him, holding out his Pokeball.
Buizel looked once at me, then looked at the Pokeball. In one swift, graceful movement, he kicked the pokeball out of my hand. It bounced away, down the aisle.
'If we are going to die, we die together.' was his message.
I had known that this was coming. If it was his wish, then all I could do was obey. I pulled Buizel close and got ready to somehow live though the longest nine minutes of my life.
***
Screams were erupting from everywhere. I shut my eyes, too scared to see the ground approch, to see how long I and/or Buizel had to live.
"I love you Buizel." I whispered in the terrified Pokemon's ear.
It seemed to calm him. And then it happened. The force of hitting the ground after nine minutes of freefall was something you can't imagine. I was strangely calm, until I could fell Buizel slipping from my graspt. I tried to hold on, but my head then slammed into the seat in front of me, forceing my eyes open. Buizel seemed to fly through the air in slow motion. He crashed into a piece of solid steel, and even I could hear the defeaning crunch of his skull...
A touch woke me from my mourning. It was a flight attendant.
"I'm sorry about your Buizel miss." She said quietly, "But please stay here. You have suffered a lot of injuries. You need medical assistance."
Then she walked away, to find the other suriviors. I turned me attention back the what remained of Buizel. His head was in pieces, bits of bone and brain were visible. His floation sack was torn into pieces. I picked up one small piece and pocketed it. I also picked up a small piece of metal and pocketed that too. Why couldn't Buizel have used his floation sack to cusion the fall.
"He must have paniced and forgotton about it." I muttered to myself.
Buizel appeared to have no paws. They must have been crushed out of existance. Parts of his spines were sticking out of his body. Blood was everywhere. I felt tears welling up in my eyes. I couldn't help it. Soon, blood wasn't the only thing on Buizel's body. My hand went to the necklace of string Buizel had found for me.
"I have to bury him." I said to myself.
It was the least I could do to repay him for all the laughter he had given me. I picked up Buizel's body, and tried to stand. Pain exploded in my left leg. It wouldn't support my weight.
"Chansey! Chansey!!!" Came a Pokemon's cry from somewhere.
"Ma Chop Chop!!!" was the reply.
Strong but gentle hands lifted her and Buizel up and carried them away. I couldn't hold onto my conceness any longer. The world faded into darkness...
