Private/Closed The Pokètweeners

Every human in existence has journeyed, or will journey across the wretched no-man's land of adolescence, coping with fragile friendships, sexual awakenings, (Or none!), and trying not to embarrass themselves and stay out of the way of the bullies and popular kids. And this is no different for humans who are also half pokemon! This RP follows the misadventures of four high-school student gijinkas, whose only goal is to, like many others, make it to adulthood without terrible memories of high school to carry around for the rest of their lives.

(PM me your character form if you want to join. You can have up to two characters, one main, and then a crush, family member, enemy, or whatever else you like. I'll begin with mine:

Name: Sybil

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Species: Mismagius

Crush: A Skuntank named Kagura)

------------------------------------------

It was no fun being the new kid. Everyone knew that. So, what better idea, according to Grange Park's headteacher, Mr Gilbert, than to lump all of the new kids together in his office for the day, and force them to play some stupid team games, in the hopes that they would have at least said hello to one another by the end of the day?

At around one o clock, the new kids were let out into the common room, with the other students, to 'socialise', as impossible as the task may be.

Sybil took a seat at the back of the room, and quietly nibbled on a rice ball as she tried to make sense of the day. So far, the games had all been ridiculous; two truths and a lie, giant ekans and ladders, and even--Wait for it--Poisoned peanut butter! She'd been forced to walk across a floor covered with peanut butter, sharing anti-poison boards (i.e P.E crashmats) with three other gijinkas.

"Hope tomorrow will be better than today," she scoffed loudly.

((I guess I just hop in?))

Sakiya generally had terrible days, and this one was no better. She happened to have taken a seat near the back of the room, as she did out of habit, and began reading. Hearing the Mismagius' remark, she replied. "I doubt it gets any worse. I applaud this school if they can." She had been trying her best to not say anything as much as possible, somehow avoiding most of the games. Which may or may not have been through a method or two of threats which may or may not have been carried out. Either way, she thought school would be better. At least homework, right?

"I don't think that it'll be the school who'll make things worse for us," Sybil scoffed, eyeing up a group of consisting of a charizard, a blastoise, and a pikachu. Sybil had never talked to the three, but judging by their attitude, and the fact that they were beating up groups of rattata and pidgeys earlier, the mismagius guessed that they were little more than the school's resident bully bell-ends, "I think that job falls to the other gijinkas here."

"Hm. Just realized the were there. HEY! You three, what are you planning on now? How to catch them all?" After, perhaps purposely, insulting the three, she continued her book. The cover was visible, but not readable in any way, shape, or form.

Lilith walked in quietly and took a seat near the front. This school had been hell for her so far, and it was probably only going to get worse. Especially the 'games' they made her participate in. She looked around, a couple other people were sitting in the room, thankfully not coming near her or speaking to her. As she looked around, she looked at two other 'interesting' students. Odd fellows, just like her. She quickly realised she was staring and looked back to the front of the room.

Mike came in, as wierd as usual. "If you look like him, you will be as popular as him. If you look like him, you will be as popular as him." He kept on muttering to himself and he over to the desk in the darkest corner of the room. He continued to mutter to himself louder and louder until he shouted. "I WILL BE POPULAR!" Mike went on muttering as if nothing happened. No one knows why mike is like this, it just makes him more bizarre and creepy.

Kathleen walked in with her hands in her hoodie. She sat at the back next to the pokemon who was mutting to himself. Lee didnt mind the pokemon next to her and hopped his creepiness with keep the other pokemon away from her. Lee noted the three other students who looked like they were new. She was infact also new but Lee didnt mind that as she leaned back in her chair and shut her eyes, not caring if the other pokehumans saw her or not.

Mike was trying to write things down in order to get a good grade in class. Due to his mask he cannot see very well. He kept on moving his hand over the desk knocking off papers and his books. He sent his pencil flying across the room. Mike did not know this and kept on swiping. He then gave up on finding it. He then turned to the Pokemon next to him. "Hello. Will you be my friend?" He asked in a quiet, and eerie voice.

"Wouldn't surprise me if they were," Sybil replied, "As far as I know, the charizard's called Donovan."

Or at least, Donovan was the name that she'd heard being cried out by a seel as he begged the fire-type not to slam his head in his locker. Sybil had never gotten well with charizards anyway; they had such an unearned sense of superiority, and you could tell by their attitude that they thought they were hard. All of the bullies at her last school happened to be charizards anyway.

"The name's Sybil," the mismagius finally replied, "Here because mum lost her job recently, and we had to move to find work for her."

She nodded. "It's Sakiya. Here because I don't really have any immediate family and this place was the only one I could find accepting orphans. Say, why does socializing class have to be longer than regular class? It's getting on my nerves." She sighed as she saw a poor Mimkyu trying to make friends with another Pokemon. Ah well, that's the circle of life, it seems.

"Sure" Replied the Umbreon. She figured the poor pokemon would need help anyway, plus she overheard some pokemon talking about him with her ears. "Name is lee, short for Kathleen." Lee said turning her head to the mimkyu, hands in her pocket still.

"It's just cause we're new, I think," Sybil answered, finishing the last bite of her riceball, "I wouldn't fret, though. Tomorrow, we'll be in class with everyone else, so I'm sure we'll get acquainted with Donovan, and all of the knobs and bitches and bell-ends this fine establishment has to offer."

The mismagius opened her bag, to look at her timetable for the rest of today, "More stupid team games after this. What fun!"

Sakiya 'muttered a word' under her breath before facing Sybil again. "Yay...I'm sure it'll be a blast." She planned to learn something today, and preferably about things that would help her survive in the wild. Not how to survive in society.

"As long as it's not 'poisoned peanut butter' again, I'm sure we'll be fine," the girl continued, "I'll be looking forward to battle theory, my first class tomorrow."

As the bell suddenly sounded, gijinkas of all species started to file out of the common room, feet scuffling on the floor as they exchanged conversation.

"Well, back to one more hour of games with Mr Gilbert, and then we can go home," Sybil scoffed, "Coming with?"

"My name is Mike. Is it not a great name?" Mike asked. Mike got up and attempted to walk through the door. He bumped into the wall 3 times until he finally walked out.

Mike walked into the common room and turned on the T.V. He changed the T.V channel to The Children Channel. Even though Mike was over the age demographic, he loved Dora the Lombre, and her pal Boots the Aipom. He even sang all of the songs aloud.

Kathleen watched Mike bump into the wall before leaving. She shook her head before walking out also. Kathleen sighed as she remembered that she had to go back to playing "games". She had half a mind just to walk home as she bumped into a mismagius. "Sorry" She replied before headeding to the claasroom.

Upon feeling someone bump into her back, Sybil's primal instinct to attack kicked in. Was it Donovan back there? Or some other gijinka who thought that it would be funny to pick on one of the new kids?

Sybil prepared a mystical fire attack in her hands, all ready to turn and strike the offender... Only to realise that it was just an umbreon. An umbreon who appeared to be heading to Mr Gilbert's office, like her.

"I take it you're new as well?" Sybil enquired, as the fire fizzled out in her hands,

Lee turned around apon hearing a gijinka talking to her. "yea" She replied noticing the smoke of a fire from her hand, "you should be messing with your moves out in the hallway it provides bullies with a reason to annoy you." With that she left the mismaguis and headed inside the teachers office. 'so jumpy" She thought.

Sakiya smiled as she walked in from behind. "It also provides a reason to annoy bullies. Battle Theory is fine, but I'd say actually putting it into practice is much more fun. Anyways, who was that?" She, as always, floated ever so slightly above the floor, something of habit that got her into loads of trouble in elementary.

"Just some umbreon," Sybil answered, "And I see no reason why I shouldn't use my attacks round here, if it'll stop people like Donovan from breaking my legs."

Mr Gilbert, a herdier, sat at a round glass table, with just enough seats for all of the new gijinkas to join him. Sybil took a seat near the back, keeping her back away from the chair.

"Alright, you little shits. Time to begin the next game," Mr Gilbert growled.

Mike just sat there. He barley made any movement waiting for the game to be announced. "So new friend, do you want to team up with me in the game?" Mike asked Kathleen.

"Well it depends on what the game is." The umbreon answered, "but sure i will team with you." From what lee could tell, she guessed that mike would probably be the subject to the charizard bully that people were talking about. Lee also figured that she would also be a target but with Lee didnt mind hat unless they went physical and decided to beat her up. The umbreon shook it off as she noted the other newbies.

Sakiya took note of the Herdier's already direct language and took a seat next to Sybil, near the back. She made sure she was ready to disappear at a moment's notice and that she could quickly direct threats at anybody.

Mr Gilbert cleared his throat. "Since I am under legal obligation to look after you all for one more hour, we're going to finish with a game of true or false. You tell your partners something about yourselves, and they must guess if it is true or false. Off you go."

There's a guy who hates his job, Sybil mused to herself, as she searched for a partner...

Sakiya sighed, deciding this wouldn't kill her. She stared straight ahead as she waited for something of interest to happen, whether it meant being partnered or not. It seemed to her that Mr. Gilbert wouldn't care either way. Plus, she wasn't going to force herself to play a silly game when she could be sitting in class, I don't know, maybe actually learning something?!

"I guess we will be partners then, mike" Lee said turning to the mimicue, "I will go first. Is it true that I purpusly though a shadow ball at person because her talked to loud?" This was only partly true. Lee though the shadow ball on accident.

Mike thought a moment. He thought very hard about about her personality. He came to a conclusion very fast. "False. You threw it on accident when you got startled by the Pokemon." Mike answered.
