In 2002 a bomb went off in the middle of Denver. The bomb was said to have the power of a 100 megaton warhead. Two thirds of Colorado was destroyed and roughly 3.8 million lives were lost.
In the aftermath the people realized that it wasn't a bomb but a small kid that caused the explosion with his hands.
Since then the people with the forty seventh chromosome known as the meta gene have been hunted down and put into captivity. seeing what a small child could do they didn't want to take the risk with teenagers and adults.

What some people didn't know was that the heads of the organization tasked to keeping Metas away from the public were secretly experimenting on them.

A group of Metas banded together to runaway from the organization. This is their story.

Its not the most important detail, but I just had to mention....
an explosion with the force of 3 suns would wipe put our whole solar system, let alone half of a State.

Even if the blast was restrained, the residual force would turn all life on Earth into a burnt piece of chicken, including the earth itself.

But the greater point is, that's quite the power to randomly obtain. I wouldn't suggest setting the scales so high unless you want a Mary-Sue battle royal as an rp.

Appearance: Tall, lean yet muscular, white hair and goatee, one green eye and one black eye. He wears an all black suit, a tight fitting black shirt with the top 3 buttons undone, black loafers and a fedora.
Power: The ability to travel through space and time (probably won't use time much, except visions and things like that).
Strengths: close combat, flirting and his intellect.
Weaknesses: lead, tight spaces and heights.

Good point Zander I'll fix that. Also that was kind of the point. So much power in the hands of a small child would be unstable. Thus the governments would want to round up Metas so that won't happen again.
