Yes, yes, I know I've already got a few topics out there, but here's one for anything I draw instead of one particular sketch. You never know, you might get some previews of random stuffage. So, without further ado, here's a few of my more recent drawings!

This is part of a pic I drew some time ago, but the rest of it was horribly proportioned, so this is all you get to see of it. His name's Kiranus, and he's an alien from another dimension. I used a realistic stle of drawing for the hair, too.

One of my favourite pics. This is the teacher from my novel, which isn't very long yet, but he's already really cool. Bishie galore!

I doubt I need to explain who this is. A practice drawing for a probable comic you may see in the near future.

Nyaaa...Cinders-san, those are really good...drawn with a tablet, right? They look computer-y. If so...what kind of tablet do you use?

And do you want constructive criticism, or not? (Some people get kinda angry when I give them constructive criticism...so by now, I've learned it's best to check first.)

Constructive criticism is always welcome! I need to know how to improve, really, since I won't learn otherwise. And I know I always get the eyes in the wrong place, my sister corrects me repeatedly.

The practice comic, well, since it was my first ever, it went really good! I could use some work on the eyes (surprise surprise!) and getting comparative perspectives right (head size of me compared to Gary/Alex's), but yeah, it's all good. ^_^

And my latest pic, finished just a few hours ago, before dinner.

Actually, if I may - a slight request concerning the pic of yours truely, any chance of boots instead of slipper shoes thingies? ^^

Also, the fingers seem to be a slight out of proportion or something. SOmething's just.... up about them.

Otherwise, fantastic. I mean, that Sephiroth clone rocks. No, seriously. I'd totally go fanboy over that.

Other than that, I'll attempt boots, and thanks for all the compliments, guys! And since I forgot to answer Persian in my last post, yup, I certainly did use my lovely tablet. It's a Wacom... *digs through piles of books to try and find which Wacom exactly* Volito 2. One of the smaller ones, so not too expensive. (The one I really, really want is over £2000, so I won't be getting that any time soon...)

Oh, and he wasn't originally a Seph clone... It just sort of ended up that way... Sort of even before I'd ever heard of Seph. I guess that's just the ultimate cool bad guy image.

I'm not good at critiquing art really. It's very unique for each person, and each person has their own style (or should). Yours could use a few touch ups here and there, but I can see the progress from your earlier pics. Just watch your body proportions and such, keep trying new styles, etc. and keep drawing more piccies to share. And more comics plzkthx ^^

Methinks the many objections to Kaz looking like Seph prompted me to do this. When I first came up with him, I did a sprite of him. Some of you may remember it. He had hair that wasn't long, but stuck up at the back. So here's a 15 year old Kaz (he's now 17) for comparison purposes.

Of course, I only just drew it, but still, that's his old haircut. And his new one if he ever gets round to cutting it.

Okay, here's an attempt at realism I did today in my spare time. I have to warn you, though, it's rubbish.

Yes, yes, I know, rubbish. It looks nothing like Tennant. But oh well. The parts I'm actually proud of are the clothes, because the highlights on them look at least somewhat realistic. Also, the hair. I had mountains of trouble with the hair. Other than that, complete rubbish.

EDIT: Just remembered, I like the ear too.

A very quick sketch that I wanted to upload onto the Gallery (just to see how it came out, etc etc), but since it ended up that I couldn't... Well. Here it is anyway. I needed to practice footwear.

EDIT 3: Why does no one look here anymore? Oh well. Here's a pic I randomly drew when inspiration hit.

I like the first Kaz piccy best! It's really good and you're getting much better with the whole proportions thing. The David Tennant hair looks really good as do the clothes, though his eyes aren't quite the same and he doesn't seem to have a top lip, which could prove interesting. Keep it up!

My most recent work. Took me about 4 hours to finish, and I did another version with different shading... But it sucked, so I kept with this one. The background took about 30 mins to do, as well. (Stars are hard...)

Another space pic, continuing the same theme. This one's an alien though, rather obviously. Took about the same time to do.

Another practice drawing for that comic. This time of Katie/Linkachu. I didn't have too many references though, so it's probably not very accurate.
