The Verum region is a large region of the south coast of unova. It was first discovered by a Kalos region explorer and presented to the rest of the world. Natives to the region had already been living their for quiet a long time and welcomed the new comers with open arms. Soon a kingdom was built and the natives and Pokemon found themselvesa oppressed by the king. Outraged by this a civil war broke out with the king and his supporters losing and disappearing as the swore that they would take back their throne someday. The region fell into an era of peace after that with and now not many are worried about things like wars. The region itself has a desert to the west bordered by thick jungle to the south west then plains and forests to the south and south east and finally cold mountain ranges to the north. A league and gyms have already been set up, the first one many beginners going to the Plainson Rock gym, home of the stone hearted beauty. The Regno corporation is the largest company in the region, working in pokeball production to building. They help fund the professor and help struggling first time trainer's on their feet, every year they even send out letters to lucky trainer to help them out.
